Everton 1 - Liverpool 2.
Forget being down about a game that only the Middle Classes & Toffs care about. Also they are the only ones that can understand it.
It was about the Merseyside Derby, I can't wait for tommorrow at work. Let's the pain begin.. ha ha.
I do want Lewis to win the F1 Title as this will upset a large majority of the nation. As they will have to accept that a Black Man is a World Champion.
I use the example of Medicine, in that it's good for you but some will not like the taste.
Before people begin to have a go at me... am a young Black Man (have a look at my Profile) & I know what am talking about.
So I don't want people to say I have'nt got a clue becasue I live this daily.
Rugby what? Liverpool FC.. yesh.

 That post is incredible. I'm neither middle class nor a toff but I enjoy the rugby. And I think you're very wrong to say that a black man winning the F1 will upset a large majority of the nation. I want Lewis to win because he's English, not because of the colour of his skin. If a white person had made a comment in a similar vein, it would be deemed racist. I think you need to apologise for your comments. confused
Oh, and being black does not mean you exclusively get to deal with stuff on a daily basis. So do disabled, old, young, goth and a whole list of other people who are different in some way.
I will not say sorry for what I put on this Post.
Alright you maybe Working Class & enjoy Rugby Union but it is a game that is dominated by the Middle & Upper Classes of this nation.
Why when England did win the Rugby Union World Cup was their no push in the working class areas? I never read anything in my local paper - The Liverpool Echo.
If my city can & has produced athletes of varoius disciplines why wasn't their a massive push in my city? I just don't know.
Also I live in this nation & know how it acts towards people of colour so I DO have a right to say this as I know.
Just typical instead of you asking me why I came to this conclusion OR what I have actually experienced in my life, personally you just become the critic.
Dialogue, that's what am about.

Maybe you could contact your local paper and ask them? Maybe it's because they know that local people aren't interested in rugby (whatever the colour of their skin/social class). I know it's been in our local papers - and local people read the national papers too, I believe. Major sporting achievements are always reported on, regardless of the origin of the sportspeople.
I'm not interested in how you reached the conclusion as you seem biased - but I think you're wrong to make the sweeping generalisations that you've made. Your experience is just that - yours - it may not be representative of the experience of many other people. Quite frankly, if your attitude is that you want him to win just because he's black, that's racist. I think you need to look to yourself if you've had issues as a young, working-class black man.
You are comparing being a Goth to being a Black Male.. :!:
Erm... better check yourself.
Erm... that just proves what I typed.
People don't really understand what has gone on or is still going on this 'great nation' of ours in terms of Class & Race.
Amazing to be in the same classification as a Goth.

No, I am saying that goths, disabled, old, young and other groups of people also have problems because they are different, as are people of colour. It proves nothing about what you typed, other than you missed the point.
So because you wear Facepaint, have bad taste in music & wear strange clothing makes you on the same level
as being disabled or being Black.
Reply.. am I wrong in my interpretation of what I've read from your previous Posts? confused:
Please elaborate.
fascinating.

Fansinating.

Do you mean 'fascinating'?
Yes, you are wrong in your interpretation of my posts.
Goths believe they have good taste in music and clothes. You're saying they don't; you're entitled to think that - it's your opinion that they have poor taste. But they are victimised for it. Earlier this year a girl was beaten up and died for being a goth. For being different, just as various groups are victimised for being different.
Have you heard of Paul Sackey or Jason Robinson? They are both young black men who played rugby for their country last night - England.
Rugby League is just that Rugby League.
Did I mention Rugby.. the answer is NO.
I mentioned Rugby Union.
Rugby League is expanding it's own horizons by going into the South East & abroad.
Also to I have a Chip on my shoulder, is so cheeky.
Again why don't you ask me what I've gone through in my life, but no.
I must have a chip on my shoulder.
Like a recent saying about race:
Just becasue Black People aren't hanging from a Tree nowadays don't mean that the hate has gone away.
Just think about it... think.
Am more than willing to take you around Liverpool & you can meet people. They will tell you their daily life.
So they must have a entire Chip Shop on their shoulders.
Open your mind... if you want come to Liverpool. Am serious. Then we could put a joint Post on this site.
The offer is open to the two of you.
Blimey...and we thought this thread was for fun only!!!!!!!!!!!
