apparently 4m kitkats are sold a day in the UK making it our most popular chocolate!
Highland Toffee - good one - forgot about them - still prefered the wham bar - real tooth puller!
Amber....... thats just cheeky! you'll get it for that comment ;)
As for 5 centres, i remember them too, very nice as well, althought the frys mint cream bar was my fave smile
Thought of another - whispers - dont think they still still exist - blue wrapping and red writing and fairly obvious tv ads with i think Smith and Jones.

Space dust or something confused: They still sell it but im unsure what its called now :?

ahh, space dust, a very strange experience if used during oral
I tried that on a guy and he didn't feel a thing.....or are you thinking what I hope you're thinking????????
tabbi rushes out to buy a load of spacedust biggrin
mmmm this made me think of one or two things.
Spangles - Old English flavour...
Acid Drops..
Coltsfoot Rock..
Puff Candy..
Spanish (Soft Licquoice)
and Hard Licquorice sticks
Later on - Plain Chocolate Flakes - yummy!!!
Anyone else remember that Cadbury and Frys used to sell their bars (eg Turkish Delight) in 2 sizes - the small one (about the size of current ones) was 4d (about ) and the large size was 7d.
Ahh yeah i rememeber the hard licquorice stick's, think they were made by bassett's and took ages to chew thru......mmmmmmm

I used to love them too - always had a black tongue when I was a kid ooooooo - black jacks and fruit salad too!
toffos - plain toffee or flavoured.
Bon bons - still get them but they used to really hurt the teeth.
Liquorice torpedoes, coconut mushrooms, sugared mice, black jacks . . .

Yep - they were the natural licquorice weren't they?
Now Cowans highland Toffee - a dentists nightmare - and we used to get them as penny chews as well!
Are Rolos still on the go?
The Dutch go for things that taste like Fisherman's Friends and non sweet sweets!
Having said that maybe they are right. lol

Does anyone remember PACERS .. they were minty chewy sweets in a packet and they had green and white stripes ... I still remember the advert for them off the tele ... if anyone ate one whatever they were wearing changed into green and white stripes and they would shout "stripes".
Does anyone else remember this or have a dreamt it confused
We have a newsagent in our town who sells old fashioned sweets in the plastic and class jars .. you can get kola cubes, bon bons, sherbet lemons and my favourite Kop Kops and loads of other yummy delights ... damn its shut now must pay it a visit tomorrow biggrin

Ahhh......promises Steff!! wink
Tooti Fruities.......loved them (especially the pink ones)
Mint cake sweets (little individual ones - not the bars)
The candy sweets that looked like cigarettes
yum
Can be arranged Amber wink
tootie fruities......they aint the same now as they were, thats for sure, tooooo sweet now and no real flavour to them. The licquorice sticks were natural ones and flat at the end as i believe, tasted great and sent everything black!
What about Cabana bars?
They were like Bounty bars, but they had cherries in them and a layer of caramel under the chocolate
I used to buy them for 10p from the school tuck shop
Slightly more modern but its really hard to find noe, in London anyway, plain chocolate covered hob nobs - in red packets - not happy - love em!
