Whilst on a visit to the local grage lastnight i noticed that Cadbury's have brought back the "Texan" choccy bar, i remember this from my distant past and it got me thinking as to what other sweets/choccy should br brought back from the dead!
Personally i think Spangles ought to make a come back! and not cos you could get your tongue in the little dimple in the middle wink (well i could when i was a child)

Spangles did make a brief reappearance in the late 1990's. However, they were bought back in single flavour packs only, which probably counts for their demise again. I mean, who wants a whole packet of blackcurrant and nothing else?
My sister and I used to love the little muslin sacks of Spanish Gold. Little nuggets of yellow coloured bubblegum, with a galleon printed on the bag. Our little brother wasn't allowed the gum but used to turn the sacks inside out fill them with dry grass seeds and use them for grain on his toy farmyard rolleyes lol
Another thing we loved and I can't remember the name of it, was little paper packs of something resembling rough shag (!) tobacco. IIRC it was coconut flavour and covered with a sprinkling of chocolate powder to make it brown and give it a more realistic tobacco look.
Then there was the chocolate *smokers set* complete with edible pipe, cigars, zippo lighter etc  - can you imagine givng your child *pretend* tobacco products these days?!
I wonder my sister and are are not chain smokers with all that stuff we were given as kids
Tracy-Jayne
Ahhhh fond memories ............
I can't remember the name of it, but there were those tiny sweets that used to like explode on your tongue - like a snap crackle and pop thing. I haven't seen them around in years unfortunately.
I remember the days when I used to pop a couple into my ear and listen closlely as they used to go bang ............
Not sure why I did that to be honest, just seemed a good idea at the time .......... rolleyes

You can still get that stuff - it was formerly called *Space Dust* but now it's called *Crackles* strangely enough

Cadburys brought out a chocolate bar a few years ago..... it was like a kitkat in shape but had a square hollow running through the centre..... evidently it was to prevent any crumbs ...... lol.....
I have no idea what it was called....... but anything made by Cadburys is heavenly......

Space dust was great stuff, i dont think its the same nowadays tho, in the same way Curly Wurly's are now only a 3rd of the size as i remember, or is it because the size of my hands and mouth have got bigger confused
Oh my God - TFL, I remember Nerds too! That twin box was 'orrible - something like strawberry in the red side and apple in the other?
Definitely with Fabio on the Wagon Wheels - nowhere near as big as they used to be...
Was watching something on TV the other night...might've be Auston Powers. Was blown away to see and advert for "Revels" in one of the commercial breaks - had no idea they were still going, and was astonished to see the ad taking the piss out of the fact noone ever liked the coffee flavoured one!
Otherwise, favourite oldie that I used to get in a 10p mix was the fizzy coke bottle...nice!
