Same old same old
I'll spend it sitting on my sofa gently rocking backwards and forwards muttering "I'm so lonely, no body loves me" over and over.
Unless someone wants to pop round and cheer me up ;) ;)
I'm thinking this sad lonely man who needs cheering up approach wont work! But it's always worth a go, you never know...

Fri: Get shot of the kids, as usual.
Pub. No drinking.
Sat: Pub. No drinking bet on the gee gee's in the pub.
Go to the village field at about 4pm help set up stuff then serve food in a marquee (ok under a tarp) from BBQ at the PTA's bonfire & firework party. Then back to the pubfor more no drining
Sun: Lie in bed all morning.. ru to the pub for last orders and don't drink. Go and fetch the kids.
All in all.. I'm not drinking.

We've just sat in the pizza hut and contemplated the possibility of taking the kids to Scarborough or Whitby this weekend .... turn up B&B type thing.

God I wish. We went to Scarborough for a week this year and it was bloody good (even though it was during the heavy rains). Second time we've been.
First time we went for a couple of days a few years ago. Just showed up and went straight from the train station into the tourist centre and got a fantastic B&B just round the corner for £12 a night.
It was the first time away Countess and I had ever had and as we were saving for a house we didn't have much money (now we've got the house we've still not got much money
). Wonderfull. Absolute bliss. You can't fool a fool you know!

ANd when you've done that you can head for Scarborough.
First place Morbius and I ever went together was Scarborough and we've since had a couple of caravanning holidays and sneaky weekends away there are in Whitby (gorgeous little manor house we know).
Haven't been for a few years (youngest was a babe in arms last time). We keep threatening to rent a cottage in Robins Hoods Bay in the summer but money is never plentiful enough
