I must admit, I'd not noticed the chair 'till you pointed it out, both because it doesn't show up very clearly in a tiny little avatar and because I was mainly looking at your tits. 
Still, the avatar and the other pic you posted look pretty cool, and the wheels are certainly not the worst prop I've seen in a photo shoot of that nature.
As for the lack of flaps on the second photo, I'd guess it's either a trick of positioning, or you've been 'tastefully' photoshopped. I admit I've done similar on some of my pics, not much, just getting rid of the odd zit (and some of the shadows under my man boobs and gut).
Still, the avatar and the other pic you posted look pretty cool, and the wheels are certainly not the worst prop I've seen in a photo shoot of that nature.
