I recently sent someone a pm and they never read it. I know they visited the site numerous times in the period it showed as unread. Eventually I deleted my copy and took it to mean I was on their ignore list sad

Some peoples flashing mail icon has not been working maybe they didn't see it flashing so were not aware the mail was there
I know mine is not working and only know there is mail if I go into my mailbox

Ahhh... it's because it is a completely innocuous bit of mail which, if I hadn't sent it then and there, would probably have been forgotten.
The impatience comes because I can now see it sat in my sent mail folder unread. I am a bit sad like that.

Oh! so THAT'S what "unread" in sent mail means? I thought it was me going back to read the email I sent for typos ;) Thanks for clearing that up

I know I have had that happen to me, found a few PMs that I did not know I had and had not read them as they were intermingled with others and showing as already Read.
