I now have my brother coming to stay and my nephew coming over Xmas Day. Didn't want to be on my own this year, have done it before and hated it. Funny, Xmas day has the same number of hours as any other day, but it seems to last forever whenever I have spent the day alone.
If my brother had not been here, I was planning to go down the the local Shelter event to help out there.
I think if I hadn't wanted to do that, I would have taken off, with my camera to the Highlands. Always wanted to go and Xmas would seem as good a time as any other to head off on my own. I think that will be plan A if next year is still a solo year for me.

I shall be spending the majority of xmas on my own as usual.... got used to it over the years now. Ive had such a stressful time this year Im looking forward to being on my own without people who stressed me out so much in previous years being around...

I shan't be alone, but there's something about being the odd one out at a Christmas Party that's almost as depressing as being alone! Everyone else playing happy families you know, and im in the corner recently divorced and no kids.

il b with my family who i luv very much but its still a lonely time for me !
ideally id like to b with my kids and with a man too (no one specific but someone to share xmas day with) however ,life isnt gonna b like that so i guess il make do !

this will be my first christmas :cry: i will go to family home for the day and try not to have an argument with ex for the sake of the kids.
but boxing day im on a plan for my first new year abroad :bounce: and maybe get lucky boink

will be hard at times but i will be with mum and brother so should be able to keep busy.
