St Patrick wasn't Irish. There's a school of thought that says that he was actually 2 people. One was from Gaul (France) and another that says he was born not far from Carlisle. Also, St Andrew was said to be born in Bethsaida on the Sea Of Galilee. A bit of a distance from Scotland.

The nearest Sunday to day... (this year 20th April) is used by Classic vehicle owners throughout the U.K. to get out there and show the great British public that a large chunk of British motoring history is still around and being enjoyed.
There has been a continuous and relentless push by the grey faced Euro politicians to get rid of or at the least make it difficult for ordinary folk to enjoy using and restoring older vehicles.
Legislation it seems keeps people in desk jobs but does little to "save the world from polluting old bangers".
Our club had a run out to Sandbach in Cheshire and enjoyed a full day of entertainment with like minded folks. Thanks Sandbach.

At the risk....
St. George is the patron Saint of the Norman Occupation of England.
So why celebrate St Georges Day in a Free England?
Which means England is not represented on the Union Flag.
...and on an environmental point, dragons are endangered, mostly harmless, so why kill them?
