Though have seen, and spoken to some who's very attitude just *felt* wrong...
this may well have been my own prejudgement >though my experience as a witness to sub-domm/me play isnt so small as to say Im closed-minded< and perhaps, those speaking were playing to an audience, making themselves appear *bigger* or *badder* than thier play limits allow... however, some things witnessed have been quite disturbing.
That said... also I have had the pleasure of witnessing, and speaking to the participants of safe, consensua l>sp?< role/power/bdsm play and the degree of care, thought and concern applied during *scening* has been immense, and the levels of respect shown and given, the same.
Once again... there are all sorts of people out there... not all nice, but many are.

Yup thats another good point - the "instinct" feeling I know I use mine a lot and trust it completely, another very close friend is begining to appreciate hers too and realising that its usually damn close !
As to the care and concern aspect the last thing any real dom wants is to cause any kind of non consensual distress and that includes unwanted audiences, obtrusive single guys or even cold play areas its not uncommon to have another person just looking right into the sub's eyes to ensure they are ok
