Hartlepool - sand, sea and optional sex wink

But no kiss me quick hats! mad
The tartypool's rubbish!
:giggle:
All ya had to do was ask if ya wanted a kiss me quick hat :P
A couple of my favourite places:
Kettlewell in the Yorkshire Dales. Hills, dales, sheep, tumbling becks (that's streams to southerners biggrin) great food, lovely people.
North West Wales - around Snowdon, especially a lovely little hotel tucked into the hillside near Llanberis (pm for name and address if you fancy it). Run by a lovely couple of guys, amazing food, nooks and crannies to explore and the rest of the hillside to roam on - they own that too.
I'm staying in the uk this year... but off to stay with friends in Kent as I do every year anyway.
We do have some beautiful places to visit here... lots of places still to see!
we are going to blackpool :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: we absolutely love the place, it has a bit of everything we are looking for fun and excitement for the kids (and for the children) :giggle: we can do something different everyday. the tower(obviously)the circus alone is worth the entrance fee, the pleasure beach, zoo, sancastle, dr who museum, waxworks just to mention a few. it can work out expensive but there are many places offering discounts. if we don't feel like going out we just stay in our hotel which is lovely and has many facilities. swimming pool, gym sauna, many pampering experiences and a kids club for the youngest to get away from embarrasing mum and dad :silly: . the weather may not always be the best but we love it come rain or shine worship . but the most important thing is we get to spend so much time together as a family. :smile2:

Is breakfast included ?
Is there room for the caravan ?
As I live in a middle terrace a caravan won't fit through the archway, but I'm sure I could stretch to brekkie wink

There are two locations I can recommend depending on whether you want a city experience or some of the great outdoors.
For the city it has to be York in the North East region, a fantastic place with lots of history, great things to see and do and some good pubs and places to eat!!
Outdoors types could not do much better than Northumberland particularly Holy Island and St Cuthbert's Caves, Bamburgh Castle or Alnwick Castle, all within easy driving distance!!
