warm days remind me of being 17, hanging out on my best friends' roof smoking cigarettes at dusk, afternoons of driving in my car with the windows down, depeche mode on while going to my secret boyfriend's house... sneaking in with my friends to the park late at night to get drunk get high hang out... and when I was older, hot days in central park stripped down to almost nothing eating cold watermelon soaked in voddy with my girlfriends, and hot new york nights - parties on friends roofs out in brooklyn and four or more of us piled into the shower w/ the cold water on to "cool off"

But as the sun is shining to day,( i wish it wasnt now) i got out my nice pink shoes , big mistake, went to the shops, and had a really emabaressing moment, as i walked down my street, my heel got stuck in the crack of the pavement, just were there was a group of work men working, and to add to the embaressment, one of them came and decided to help me, yanking my leg from out my shoe
, and all i could think of was how glad i was i had shaved my legs this morning...
so now my pink shoes are in the bin, and i wished it had rained today...
