Just been watching an episode of top gear ish type thingy me bob with jeremy clarkson comparing an astin martin with a ferrari dunno
Now the ferrari was a better car the astin looked better and sounded better rolleyes
but he liked the astin martin better?? asked dek to explain when he said he would pick astin martin to and he couldnt explain why. smackbottom
So im asking the wise (cough) people of sh to try and explain why ?
Is it just because they look and sound better confused:
what is it about the astin martin :?:
It is a man thing boys toys etc :?:
Now being a woman and a none driver i cant really understand technical car boxy talk :sticky:
so can anyone help try and explain why the better car isnt always the best car??? its damn to confusing
Confused Tanny x
bolt
Sometimes Tan its about personal choice, bit like prefering a blonde plain girl to a brunnette stunner.
Me! I would pick the ferrari but then again that's just my dream car altho the Aston has four seats and it might be quite hard to get laid in the ferrari with only 2??
Altho if I had a ferrari I don't think getting laid would be a problem lol
Try thinking of a female chosing a pair of shoes..
Does she chose a pair that are sensible and she can walk in or does she chose a pair that go with the outfit?
Id buy both pairs cool
I was just wondering what was so great about the astin martin and why they could'nt explain it rolleyes or is it like i said (can relate this to shoes lol ) is it just because it looks good?
It'd have to be the Aston Martin for me too. Don't care about the techy stuff, just don't like Ferraris. If I won or was given one, I'd sell it and buy something else.
The Aston Martin is the epitome of British-ness. It has a history of class, style and a pedigree as long as your arm. It was also the most famous (and best) car driven by Sean Connery as James Bond.
Ferraris are flashy, vulgar (IMO) and built by hairy little Italians (though they might not all be little).
An Aston for me every time please!

Just one question springs to mind tho talking about how British Aston Martin is.
Would someone like to tell me who owns Aston rolleyes  Martin

Aston have only just gone back into british private ownership after being under ford for a long time.
For those who don't know Ford is an american company.
You can get a tvr or mustang to sound just as good as an aston and they are not so expensive.

Still not quite a British Company. Sold by Ford to two Kuwaiti investment companies although being run by David Richards, the man behind the Subaru World Rally Team.
For those who can't understand the why the Aston. Think of it as the perfect English Gentleman against the wham bam of the Italian supercar. Would take the Aston Martin every time.
