Well Al gu ta fut of arr stairs, tha learns somat new on here all ' t time
Aston, never Aston Martin.
Yes they have style. They are simple to drive, once you know they have a nasty habit of needing loads of power in 1st gear. You need a ladder just to pull yourself out of most of them. Your legs are mostly under the engine when driving. Yes I now most cars in the class are the same, but put in all together If you are going to drive something like an Aston it may as well be an Aston.
Ahhh an aston every time built by hand each having it's own individual mannual and engineer (do they still put the engineers name on it hmm need to ask)
Class thats what an aston is class
A ferrari is an expensive fiat and plastic.
Now on the other hand if you was to give me the choice between a lambo (i mean a proper one even though the new ones are nice) and an aston it would be lambo every time such beauty such class, so a head of it time hmmm
Ferrari - The tanned Italian chap.. slicked back shiny black hair, gold necklace, Armarni shirt with the top three buttons undone to show off a hairy chest and a pair of highly polished shoes..
The Aston - A classic Englishman, stylish Savile Row suit, silk tie, doesn't need to make a show - the clothes maketh the man.....
A Ferrari is more likely to twang a girls knicker elastic in my opinion, but I'd still be passing my money to the bloke in the Aston Martin dealership... sigh... dream on..
Quite simply, Aston Martins are the standard that all others sports cars follow, well at least thats how it once was; One reads that the DB7 was rather unreliable not as one would expect from the counrty's top sports marque, Astom Martin also made two models not listed, one was the Lagonda this sports car was wafer thing on the front, very angular in appearance and i recall there wasnt so many made there is also another non standard model the Zagato with its gull winged doors, notalbely Rowan atkinson once had one that if memory serves he wrote off?.
Before computerisation of engines via a managemnet system astons came as standard with V8 engines served by 4 webber twin choke carburetters this was what give them their famous "throaty" growl one of the things that has appeal to sports car enthusiasts.
simply Dream machines, incidentally whilst it is true they have 4 seats, i very much doubt that 4 adults could sit in it ?
