I have been a member on here some years now and have done several posts however I rarely get acknowledged, where as in the chat rooms I have only been going in there since April 08 and now have many friends. This didn’t happen overnight, it took a little perseverance and getting involved in the general chat in the room, saying hi to people as they come into the room etc.
Even though I still don’t feel like an accepted forumite, I still persevere.
So Steve, I recommend you give the chat rooms another go and have some patience and enjoy all the aspects of SH

Just go and fire some hello's and hiya's in the chatroom you'll soon get noticed. In fact go lurk in one for a while and take note of those people who are decent enough to reply to peoples hello's. Then mext time your in that room say hi yo the room and then hi to someone you think will answer you back with a hi.
As for being a forumite? I didn't think I was one but I have been toild I am now I don'y know if thats good or bad. I certainly don't feel like one as i thought that to be a forumite you had to PM each other all the time and chat on MSN or face book etc. Oh yes and to gang up on newbies and verbally kick the sh*te out of them. I must of been wong but hey i still maintain barebacking is a not good thing for swinging :?
