TISWAS!!!!!

what about swapshoplol
In the mornings: Saturday Club with Brian Matthew.
At teatime: Sports Report with Eamonn Andrews, later with Desmond Lynam. And, as he still does, James Alexander Gordon reading the football results. biggrin
For me, radio memories can be as vivid as TV ones.

Were they called legs and co confused
Boiled egg and soldiers at my nans, wrestling (giant haystacks, big daddy, Jim breaks, kendo Nagasaki et al) and you cant mention banana splits without mentioning Arabian Knights “size of a horse” (I wish)
Teasing peg-leg and the all time classic …………
We are the boys and girls well known
as Minors of the ABC
And every Saturday we line up
To see the films we like
And shout aloud with glee
We love to laugh and have a singsong
Such a happy crowd are we
We’re all pals together
The minors of the ABC
…. in the words of the little black fella in Sister Act
Oh happy day (oh happy day)
I'm talking about the happy days (oh happy day)
C'mon and talk about the happy days (oh happy day)
Oh, oh, oh happy days (oh happy day)
Ooh talking about happy day (oh happy day)
Oh yeah, I know I'm talking about happy days (oh happy day)
Oh yeah, sing it, sing it, sing it, yeah, yeah (oh happy day)
Oh, oh, oh
Oh happy day.....
