One last thought - I wouldn't look too far back, when assessing someone's online personality. People change over the years. I've looked at people's posts from years ago, and have been amazed at how some people have changed.

You can't actually look that far back... I only got to the first page and then it comes up blank. dunno
You can't if you click 'next', but you can if you click on the page numbers wink although it still won't go all the way back to the first page if you're a gobshite redface
Edit: just tried it again and it won't rolleyes
Yep, you did use to be able to do it.
If I remember rightly, it was always one of those "glitchy" little buggers. One moment it would work fine- the next, no hope.
So clearly a number of my posts have upset plenty of people......?
yup

I think this kind of thinking becomes another barrier to having fun. It also blows the theory that if you hang in the forums, contribute and join in,you may get lucky. Your auditable trail of postings is subjected to a forensic analysis involving any kind of selective prejudice to interpret them.
I don't know which is worth, the all out racist or the secretive, selective opinion forming spy.
Obviously if you go rummaging into people's things you are bound to find something, but usually by then you have convinced yourself that anything you find is the horrible thing you were looking for.
