Seen this come up in people's signatures. What does it mean? Applying a bit of common sense I would think it means that some long standing member has met the person and is willing to vouch for them. Or does it go beyond that? Maybe... oh maybe... hmmm...but that is just my dirty mind at work, I guess.

It just means that a family member committed them for treatment, rather than being sectioned by their GP.

Thanks for the links and it all makes sense now. Strange how everyone's take on verification was as valid as the next one's. I read through the posts and thought 'he's right!' then after a while... 'he's also right!' It reminded me of the scene in Fiddler on the Roofwhere the villagers argue about subjects and Tevye agrees with both sides of the argument and someone says (paraphrased) 'you say he's right and that he's right, well they can't both be right!' and Tevye responds 'you know what? your are right too!' LOL
(Anyone else loves that musical? Anyone else thinks it is insurpassable in its wisdom and lessons to teach the world?)
