Just to let everyone know I thought I would pop into the chat room last night and see if it still had annoying numbers of idiots in there ...and well I think the answer was not until I went in there.
I must say it was a very civilised environment and very well policed by Lips and her colleague . Lips made me feel very welcome and I ate my humble pie with relish . they do great pies in wigan apparently. I saw no instances of mindless spamming and baiting and the young uns seemed to get booted before they got a foot in .
not once did I see anyone type ...fancy a shag .....didnt even pm me with such a request :cry:
I'll go again as they all seemed so nice and friendly in there..Thanks Lips biggrin

and there lies the reason for the registered nick thing, cos it is a *much* more civilised place than it once was, and a lot of the negatives have been dealt with that way. i bobbed in last night and found it altogether too fast for me these days, but i don't think i saw a single complaint about pming, trolling or spamming while i was in there. and the ops we're actually able to chat and have fun themselves, which wasn't always the case! i just need to get my goggly eyes back up to speed! :lol2: ;)

The chatroom can be gr8 fun i,ve been on a few times and sometimes i get ignored but not for long , and the more you go in there the more you get noticed, so you find more to chat to . But it can get hectic it,s just a matter of going in at the right time , and more practice. There are some timewasters but there,s a lot more nice people.
