I like colours around me each colour to me I feel a different mood.
The colours I like are
A soft burnt orange gives off a warm feeling.
A light lilac makes me feel relaxed and calm.
These are two colours I have in my home.
A mild yellow to make me smile remebering summer days
I like to look at greenery but I would not like green within the home.
Do colours give off a mood in you?
I'm not sure, not being one for colours in the house in any case. I have very neutral colours throughout, my walls are boringly cream but I tend to accessorise in colour rather than paint it.
I'm afraid I'm one of those who follow colour trends, at the minute I've a lot of chocolate and sage green things in the living room smile
colours mean a hell of a lot to me, this is because of two reasons, I have a photographic past and worked with colours, adaptaion of colours and the meaning of colours in a shot and secondly I see people in colours... let me explain, I see/feel peoples nature in a sort of mind colour, for example my partner atre has a sort of warm red/orange colour that becomes more red as she gets angry and moe orange as she gets excited. My son has a sort of blue colour about him and fluctuates towards the whiter end of blue, my daughter has yellow and white.
I know this sounds nutty and a bit of a David Ike moment but its true I tells ye!

I have dabbled in art and enjoy art, could it just be down to creative flare?

Mar - I think we have similar taste in home decor :P :P
I tend to wear a lot of blue clothes and tend to avoid reds and oranges as I've got a bit of ginger in me and apparently they clash? confused

Black is a great colour to wear as any other colour goes with black, I have often wondered why I always like black trousers lol
I like blue light, I always feel better if the light has a tinge of blue.
Other than that green means go, red stop, and I have no colour sence what so ever.

That just makes you a typical man, and not gay whatsoever lol

Nice one! wink
Jay wears a lot of blue, it really suits him. I think men do suit blue in general.
I wear a lot of black 'cuz it's slimming! cool In the summer I love white, my fav all time summer wear are white linen pants.
If we're talking flowers around the house, I only like green and white, white roses with masses of lovely green leaves!

Oooh hello Minx, I thought you'd gone?
I have to disagree: I find that navy blue often looks wrong with black.

you have not I guess heard this.
When I am an old woman I shall wear purple
With a red hat which doesn't go, and doesn't suit me.
And I shall spend my pension on brandy and summer gloves
And satin sandals, and say we've no money for butter.
I shall sit down on the pavement when I'm tired
And gobble up samples in shops and press alarm bells
And run my stick along the public railings
And make up for the sobriety of my youth.
I shall go out in my slippers in the rain
And pick the flowers in other peoples' gardens
And learn to spit.
You can wear terrible shirts and grow more fat
And eat three pounds of sausages at a go
Or only bread and pickles for a week
And hoard pens and pencils and beermats and things in boxes.
But now we must have clothes that keep us dry
And pay our rent and not swear in the street
And set a good example for the children.
We must have friends to dinner and read the papers.
But maybe I ought to practice a little now?
So people who know me are not too shocked and surprised
When suddenly I am old, and start to wear purple.

The brain makes up the rest. wink

Gone where? have I missed something???
Navy and black! horrible combination!!
I love all the earthy colours and wear a lot of greens and browns, wear black mostly if I'm off out.
I tended to use the same colours in my work but realised quite quickly what I like isn't always what others do - so started to play around more with the colour pallet. Blues/purples/silvery glittery stuff sell more than anything else I've found...

black! black!

Can i be a pain and say that technically white is a colour (although some may argue that it's a tone) as white is a saturation of primary colours (Red, Green, Blue)- black is just an absence
Can yer tell i'm just in the middle of studying the art of colour correcting films innocent

Moi, geeky? redface
black and green tend to be my colours cos they match my glasses and i love my glasses, oh and my radley bag so it all matches biggrin redface
Like most shades of blue. Not sure why feeling blue is associated with melancholy. I think of myself as generally an upbeat personality who tends to look on the bright side of life. duh di duh di duh di duh di duh
Colour I look best in is a pale green.I used to be blonde once.
In the natural world I am breathtaken by autumnal hues of browns and oranges in woods and forests. Oh and there's the evening sky with a magnificent sunset filling the vista with aweisnpiring colours
Oh and I am put together in such a way as I would do anything when confronted by a tanned female body wearing white underwear, it just so pushes my buttons. A glimpse of white pants beneath a womans skirt also sends me into hornyland.
I think I should shut up now redface
I like red things.
