What do you miss...........

Been a long time since Chris worked nights, but I didn't sleep well when I was on my own in the bed.
Has anyone actually slept with the people they swing with? 'Cos I think that's the next best thing to when you're in a newish relationship and everything is a novelty, so waking up with someone else in your bed as well is - well - very arousing. I think it is anyway redface

I don't mind the odd night sleeping alone, but I do miss the old 'falling asleep cuddle' with my back against his belly and a big safe arm around me. Oh and someone to keep the vampires away as well lol

(I don't think about them if he is there but when I am alone I am convinced they are hovering outside the window confused

That is sooooo me!!
I love cuddling up to someone all night. That skin on skin contact, gently running hands over them when they move through the night to let them know I'm there. I always sleep better that way, more contented and thats even if I wake up early wink

I miss getting kicked in the ribs, snoring, them waking up through the night really nosily to go to the loo rotflmao

No but on a serious note I miss just having someone there to put my cold feet on and to cuddle lol
I've not slept much in my bed since i've been single... dont know why but its just not the same :violin:

Can't see why the singles are getting the hump lol.... If you are a couple you understand what is being said here.. Its not a dig at anyone i'm sure!
I would miss so many things personaly... after 25 years together your bound to.. I have no trouble sleeping alone though.. but Julie does and if I am away she always says how much the silly things like sleeping alone bother her.
Its what you get used to eh...... single or a couple!

I used to feel the same sense of loneliness in bed even when I was still married and he was working nights but at least I knew it was only temporary. 9 months of being on my own and I'm still not used to it redface

I don't often go to bed alone but I do wake up alone .Since Easy has started this new job he has to start early some mornings and I do miss the sunday mornings we use to share .As for during the nights hes the one who doesn't get any bed ,no cover and is woke up by me talking and shouting in my sleep lol

So hes probably praying I get a night job or one that takes me away :lol: :lol: :lol:

Having been on my own for some time......i miss just chatting in bed...(boring i know)....cuddling and having someone to warm my feet on......can you tell i have cold feet??????.....at the moment...anything else is a bonus! :cry:

I'm missing the early morning cuddles and stuff, and of course the occasional "5am wriggle" where she sort of wriggles and screws herself further into the spooning position for a little early morning rumpity pumpity.
For the last couple of months I've had to get out of bed a couple of hours before her. Even at weekends sad

but at least at weekends, when I hear her stirring I can get back into bed for an hour when I take her juice or coffee up hump

Obviously, when I'm working and living in the truck all week, it's a completely different kettle of fish.
I have a mate that's tramped for about 15 years.
When he goes home at weekends, he can't sleep in the marital bed. They go to bed together, he does his duties, then kicks herout into the spare bed :shock:

I think that means we have 2 evenings to get sitters sorted so we can meet up dunno
