I am often getting called a liberal lefty in here and really am confused as to why this is, I am open in my opinions but to categorise me I am often left with a feeling as to why?
My thoughts and opinions are wild diverse I can take what I think to be political stance from both ends of the political septum. I have feeling and thoughts of others plus believe those that want to better their lives should be able to do so to.
What makes me angry are people that think just of themselves and no thought of others.
I believe we are all human beings and I get on with all walks of society, I don’t think a doctor or a dustman is above or below me, it is about a mentality of people that I judge as to if I would get on well with them or not, not where they stand in the (so called) class in life.
I have friends from all classes class to me has no place in my life.
Can you see why I am confused?
What are your thoughts?
Maybe I am just an oddball
dunno

I can honestly say that despite some of my previous posts bemoaning guardian readers I have no greivance against any indeviduals, particular ones I dont know or have never met.
As some one who comes from a left wing family (old left), my beef is with the way the left now has degenerated into the hypocrocy of quite righly speaking out against racism whilst at the same time espousing anti-semitic and anti-american rhetoric.
Once upon a time liberal lefties picked up a rifle and fought the fascists in spain or marched from Jarrow to London for better workers rights.
Rather than that it is now more concerned with fringe groups even to the detriment of society as a whole (equality with a chainsaw).
