What sets your teeth on edge?

What things set your teeth on edge....you know the feeling when you either , see, hear or think about that certain something....it makes you shudder, get goosebumps or just shrivel into a useless heap.
For me its seeing someone chewing or licking a wooden lolly stick or tasting/eating from a wooden spoon.....ooooooooohhhhhhh feeling all cold now :shock:
That, and
someone scraping chairs/chair legs on a wooden or tiled floor....god it makes me wanna jump up and rag the chair off them...I hate that sound sooooo much!!
what about yours....dentist drills, wotsits crisps, someone chewing wool....what make you go all funny?? lol

The sound of stiff brushes scraping on stuff. Yard brooms on concrete. Nail brushes or your thumb dragged down a toothbrush ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Arrrrrrrrrgh!
For me it's that awful sound that mobile phones make when people try to use it like an MP3 player, but they don't have any headphones.
They insist on playing them at full volume on the bus. One day I'm going to go on a mobile phone rage.

My son tapping his fingers to an imaginary tune.......when Im tryng to listen to something else grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!
Spitting..why do guys do that?? confused

Yeah forgot about spitting. That literally turns my stomach, espercially when some insist on the sound effect as well!

And my brother also does it a lot - he says he does it cos it's funny to watch my face turn inside out, but I think it's just cos he's a freak evil

i hate people who eat with their mouths open, chamming as i call it.
i hate people drumming their fingers on a desk when im trying to concentrate at work
oh and i hate parents who allow their kids to rhythmaticly (sp) kick the back of a seat im sitting in if i use public transport.

ok so mine is a strange one but im almost sick if anyone puts a finger between my big toe and the one next to it :shock:.
Oh and I can`t dry a wooden spoon the feeling of it and the sound makes me cringe :shock: even writing about it is making me cringe.

dont know why...only sometimes...
but seeing a certain tendon in someones neck move/taughten as they express themselves!!!
makes me want to withdraw rapidly into my own body like a tortoise that has been srayed with something rather annoying to tortoises...

There is only one thing worse than nose picking and thats when they pick their noses and then eat it!!!!!!!!! :shock:
