Hi Judy
I have been popping back to this thread waiting to see what your thoughts were on it. I just knew you wouldn't be able to resist!!! lol
As usual Judy, you haven't disappointed!! wink
Hi Judy, I just want to register my appreciation too, of your very informative post.
Mike.
Hello I'm Back, as steveg says i've already had my say on this subject in another thread.

Rebecca_TV agreed with virtually what's been said so far in a previous thread:
What is a CD?
Steve

I agree with most of judytv posting except this part.
Lastly, most Transvestites and Cross Dressers are not gay. The proportion of gay men within the Trans world is pro rata to that of the heterosexual community, they just dress a bit oddly that’s all.

I find that the proportion of TV's who are gay is much higher, even as high as 50/50, many seem reluctant to admit to it, maybe admiting you wear female clothing is one thing, but also admiting your gay as well !, i guess thats a step many can't handle.
I've meet countless TV's CD's and Guys who say " I'm not gay, but I'd really like to sleep with you" Well its fairly obvious that i'm not a real women ( i try my best but im not good enough to fool people) so they know the've just asked a guy to go to bed with them but they still say they are not gay????.

My other comment is this, if a guy says he wants to sleep with me or have sex with me I don’t automatically assume he is Gay, I would certainly class him as bisexual in some form or other, but I think it would be unfair to class him as Gay out of hand.
JudyTV

Fair point Judy, maybe i should have said that i find alot of trannys or trannie fanciers to bisexual rather than being gay. From a youngish age (mid teens) I've always known i was bisexual and been fairly open about, but you do get the impression that you have to be either straight or gay, in the media you very rearly hear about someone being bisexual they just say he or she is gay. Just my own personal feeling but if the government stats show 1-20 to be gay I feel that many more are bisexual. I’m sure if asked the question, are you gay? Many would say no, but if asked are you bisexual? I suspect if people are honest then yes would be the answer far more often.
Opps sorry this does seem to have gone away from the subject of CD v TV.
Whilst we're on the subject (kind of).................
There is someone on the site that every couple of days takes the time out to trawl through all of the Men seeking Men ads and if there is any hint or mention of female clothing in the ad he reports it for being in the wrong category. He wants them moved into the TV/TS/CD section. He never leaves his e-mail address in the report so we don't know who it is and we can't contact him.
If this person happens to read this the please stop. If the ad is very obviously placed by a TV/TS/CD then yes please report it for being in the wrong category but otherwise all your doing is taking up a lot of our time.

I'd never thought on it before - but TV and CD are different to me - and I like the distinction between one being a man dressed as a woman, and the other a man trying to look like a woman. Not sure how any CDer or TV would think about that though confused It may also indicate the difference between dressing up in private and in public.
I suppose the answer is - if in doubt - ask.
As for bi and very bi - I agree with TE.

I am an adult Schoolgirl. I use the term CD and TV at the same time, with no difference meant between the two. Sometimes I look convincing, sometimes I look like a cock in a frock.
I dont think it matters that much, as long as the message is conveyed that I am really a bloke and do not deceive anyone (and a few have been, not deliberately, in the past redface
Thankyou Judy & Rebecca for an interesting arguement & a facinating read.
It seems to me to be a minefield between all 3 (CD, TV & TS).
Do you find it that some people drift from CD to TV, or do you think that once a CD always a CD.
The WHOOSH Man
Hi,
A CD, like myself is a Cross Dresser, dresses up as like a woman as possible.
I am a Bi CD, that is I am bi sexual, not all CD's are bi-sexual
Some CD's are very convincing, others.. perfer darker areas like myself.. but have received a few beeps in my time.
A TV, is considered very convincing and virtually a full time "woman" i.e. they dress and look like a woman most or all the time. You will also see things like pre-op and post-op TV, as it says before and after an operation.
A TV again may or may not be Bi, and may or may nor be on hormones. Some TV's would not go with a guy untill after the operation.
She-Male. well probably very convicing and many/most would fool most of us, even those looking for the signs. People who like them can see them easier. Probably but not always various cosmetic surgury.. and nice breasts
She-male's are also pre- and post op.
She-Males and TV's are if anything virtually the same, except the She-Male is the glamour model and TV an ordinary woman.. well as near as you can get.
Now to confuse everything above.
An inexperienced CD/TV/She-male. as in someone just discovering, starting out not thought about it in the descriptive sense will call themselves all of the above.
and yes. some do have beards and moustaches.. yeuch..
I would love to shave all body hair but have restricted to varuous not seen regions, especially over summer, cum winter, try more.. and also just split up from ex so no need to explain there.
I hope this helps and thank you for asking, better to ask and be informative than not.
if I can help you more.. or you want to dominate a CD.. like me.. get in touch.

Bye for now

I have alays considered myself straight but tolerant, Calistas parents have a gay couple a few doors down and we get on like a house on fire (just as an exmple). This thread has opened my eyes, educated me and i am greatful for the open, decent manner it was discussed in.
Once again thanks folks (almost said guys, but wasnt sure if that would be correct ?? smile )
