I was browsing through an old box of CD's that Mrs Cueball had "forgotten" to throw away today. She's gonna kill me for this lol......
I found 2 PJ & Duncan (Ant & Dec!) and 2 Robson and Jerome albums
So what's the worst you'll admit to and why have you still got it?
My worst album is Daniel Bedingfield, I bought it out of sentimentality when my ex boyfriend decided that 'if you're not the one' was Our Song. I haven't got rid of it because........ ermmmmm......... not actually sure to be honest!
Please don't hold this information against me! rolleyes
I still have a 45rpm vinyl of Pinky and Perky singing Cowboy Billy Joe redface
It was Jon's when he was a small child and his mum gave it to me when we got married. Not exactly sure why though - probably because she couldn't stand to the embarrasment of having it in her house any longer rotflmao :rotflmao:

One advantage of records over CD's is when an old record becomes too embarassing it's damn fun to destroy them in imaginative ways. Doing the same with a CD is never as satisfying
Michael

I know what you mean. Vinyl is so versatile - fruit bowls, ashtrays etc. CD's just make coffee mats
ive got 2 records which i had from my childhood (i mean early child hood)
Oville the duck - i wish i could fly & theme tune to postman pat!!!

Haha.... see you *know* the Spice Girls were pop geniuses (well, their original songwriters did the job a couple of times!)
Shame though, woulda been fun arguing their case. I'm not totally convinced myself, but anything that can be that successful so quickly must be doing something right, and shouldn't be easily dismissed....
Right, that's enough of that shite, maybe we should talk about proper music, or sex or something...
Michael xx
What's the something ????

To be honest the Spice Girls had nothing to do with music, their producers simply managed to put together a package that was sellable to the wider market through mass publicity and PR.
If you can get a song played over and over again on the radio people will eventually like it and buy the song.
Spice Girls a PR success, Musically talented - No.
Just my opinion like................
Now that's a hard one, i have around 16,000 records hang on a couple of days and i'll let you know............................"the things you have to do to post a reply on a thread"

Awwww Lil_bunny.... please don''t think that..... I'm rarely serious about anything....
I'm a little dry in my sense of humour possibly, and I like challenging people when they start kicking at easy targets, after all, that's where fascism starts! I still think those first two Spice Girls singles were pop music masterstrokes.....
Shall we all kiss and be friends?
Michael
Only if u want the flu and a coldsore sad
As a through and through rocker, I am embarrassed to admit that for some unknown reason, I bought "Ghostbusters" in 1984. Heard it the other day on TV, and its repetitive tedium had whipped me up into a coma after about 30 seconds...... One for the charity shops me thinks.
Rick. redface
Shaddap your Face by Joe Dolce .... erm the Black Lace singles ..... Doctor Who by the Timelords
and Russ Abbott neutral
bolt
ok ok I was into cheesey party music ....
redface surprisedops:
Two Little Boys by Rolf Harris.
For those not old enough to know what I'm talking about, trust me, you haven't missed a thing. redface

Doctor Who by the Timelords

You can be forgiven this one though Calista as it was made by the geniuses (genii?) who are Bill Drummond and Jimmy Cauty, better known as the fantastic KLF!
I have the Timelords single and 12" too, I do like that!
Have to keep it separate from the Quo, AC/DC, Motorhead & skynyrd collection though!
Rick!
redface surprisedops:
JGL......
ive got the orville record too....
(not that i should be bragging bout it !!)
