I used to be a radio 4 gal - I'm a bit of a news/current affairs geek. Used to have it on all day at work.
I rarely listen to the radio now. But these past few weeks while I've been on hols I've been woken up every morning by my neighbour's radio alarm. City FM, Liverpool's local radio station. Flippin loud too... ignorant sod.
I'll tell Mr W you said that......and he can tell you to turn them down! :lol2:
Radio 3 all day if I could. I put up with the 20th Century squeak and plonk for the unexpected treasures. I only turn off if its Jazz. That of course means that I miss all the Radio 4 gems. Wish I had two heads.
I've swapped stereo's with the one from the workshop.
I can now get radio 2! :thrilled:
Forgot to say, George Galloway on Talk Sport Fridays and Saturday nights, 10-1.
I can't imagine that there's many people on here who are listening to the radio on a Fri or Sat night between 10- & 1 :-) Probably got something else near their eyes......like someones thighs?
When in the car only local stations, but at home R4. Odd that?
Planet Rock, Arrow Rock n Virgin!
Most DJ's seem to have lost sight of their raison d'etre which is to actually play music and not spend hours talking about their own banal lives or endless drivel with the rest of "the posse".
John Peel never forgot this fact - the music was always bigger than him and he let the records do the talking and I for one miss him so much.
As I am driving all day the radio is quite important to me for entertainment.
- 10 Radio 1 Chris Moyles
10 - 1 Talksport Jon Gaunt, unless its rubbish subjects then I switch back to Radio 1 for Jo "Bland" Whiley
