Tesla an absolute genius who was, like a few others from history, a man who was born way ahead of the people of his time.
Most people believe it was Thomas Eddison who invented the electric lightbulb and harnessed controlled and built 3 phase electricity machines, something that controls almost 98 % of every electrical appliance that is in use today, when it was in fact Tesla, but Eddison was the favoured scientist being American, whereas Turkish Tesla was thought to be somewhat of as madman.
Subsequently, the american's stole Tesla's ideas and made it impossible for him to gain funding from any where for his research, which is a shame as in 1897 he drew plans and working models for an electric floating train (just been "reinvented" in japan using Tesla's own blueprints)that could have realistically travelled at over 300 miles per hour, when steam trains of the time struggled to reach 40
He also was working on the use of micro - waves to heat things (such as food) ring any bells? But unfortunately died whilst exposing himself to massive amounts of electro radiation working on a secret project thought to have been a molecular transporter, hence the appearance of his character in the recent film "The Prestige". There are rumours he succeeded with building this machine but it was taken away by the american government after his death and stored away as it was deemed far to dangerous to ever be tested!! cool
Tesla was a genius id love to meet him!

And others credit Joseph Swan with that invention, almost a year before Edison.

Is that the lady from America who made history about women's rights or something?
Yes. Gosh i should Google this really for the full reply, but I remember she stayed sitting in the seats allocated to white people on the bus, when she was told to give up her her seat to a white person.
I think it was a catalyst for the racial equality movement in the U.S
Unless you meant my grannie, in which case no I don't think so wink

I'd interview Eve she must have been a bit special to have made Adam be so naughty wink

Nahhh nothing like that... she wasn't that great if you know the story behind it... this is how it happened:
God asked Adam, "What is wrong with you?" Adam said he didn't have anyone to talk to. God said that he was going to make Adam a companion and that it would be a woman.
God said, "This person will gather food for you, and when you discover clothing she'll wash it for you. She will always agree with every decision you make. She will bear your children and never ask you to get up in the middle of the night to take care of them. She will not nag you and will always be the first to admit she was wrong when you've had a disagreement. She will never have a headache and will freely give you love and passion when ever you need it."
Adam asked God, "What will a woman like this cost?"
God replied, "An arm and a leg."
Then Adam asked, "What can I get for a rib?" And the rest is history...
lol

Elizabeth I
Would love to know what she was like as a person, was she ruthless or did she have a softer side that doesn't seem to get portrayed in any of the stuff I've seen/read on her.
Was she controlled by a team of people, a kind of front woman, or was she the one very much in control.
How the hell did she trust anyone around her, who were they, how much trust did she place in people etc.
What was her everyday run of the mill day like, what did she do, where did she go, who did she hang out with .......... was it even possible, for a queen in those days, to have a run of the mill day dunno
Did she really only have a bath once a week? confused
Did she get on with her dad? :dunno: Did they see anything of each other? :dunno:
Would just love to know all about her, her morals, her opinions, her private side, her everything .......... and if anyone knows of a book that would give me an answer, then let me know! lol

What a lot of questions! You could always ask Nursey. wink

Well it made her a load of money, less grief.
I will also ask her how much courage did it take to smash the unions, and tell her that millions of people say thanks Mags, for letting us own our own houses. cool
