A lot of these calls come from withheld numbers and there is a system in place with can block withheld numbers from calling your phone.
Are you using AOL?
AOL always says you've got company as soon as someone on your buddy list logs on.
Might be that!
I'm going to PM the details tomorrow night, so check your inboxes!!!
I am scared of:
Flying (I do it only because I have to but no-one ever wants to sit next to me on a plane)
Heights
Spiders
Butterflies
Dogs that I don't know
Cows (it's their tongues that freak me out)
and
vomit (I really cannot watch someone being sick, I keep thinking their eyes are going to pop out)
*sulks for a second*
*jumps in bath*
Ah well, at least I tried!!!!
*puts on false moustache and enters the BFZ*
Alright lads, is that them trying to steal our swipe card details, then??
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!
 :high-smile:
I am a hypocrite. Well, I used to be.
A long time ago, I underwent cancer treatment and never really gave a thought about where my blood was coming from. (I know, it does sound awful.)
Ten years on, I admit, I still didn't really give it a thought. Then a couple of months ago, a blood donation truck appeared outside our new office premises and everyone in my office decided that we were visiting that van "as a group".
I cannot stand needles and it may sound stupid but the thought of them scares me even when I felt like a pincushion once upon a time...
But I went to that van along with my colleagues, confident that once I'd told them about my past, I would never be accepted to give blood. I then received the shock of my life. Out of the 21 people I work with, only two people were accepted and I was one of them
To say I was scared was an understatement, but afterwards I felt elated and I'll do it again if I can. It was a great feeling that I was giving something back.
I appreciate that this is a personal plea, but from someone who has given blood and also someone who needed it very much, please donate blood if you can!!
YES!!! *looks out uniform*
I would like to be considered too.
I can do any hours (except between the hours of 1pm and 6pm on Sunday!)
I can pour drinks, flash my chest, tidy up, flash my chest, open beer bottles, flash my chest, order takeaways, flash my chest...
I can get references and I have a CV here (sorry, it's so long, I know CV's should only be 2 pages but how can you possibly condense 40 pages into 2?)
Thank you for your time and I look forward to the interview!
LOL!! There won't be any press there....if only you lot knew where the munch is!
There is no chance!
