Best ever....well, too many to say really...first time I ever saw The Clash (still my favourite band of all time) in Bristol in 1977 springs to mind...

Ah yes The Clash
Scene- some pub in Swindon
Time- 1977, just as the Clash are coming on stage
An excited 13(!) year old gets whacked on the back of the head by something or someone unknown and spends the rest of the night in the pub kitchen with an ice pack on his head

OOps how did that happen?!
I love it when they get members of the audience up on stage to play.
When I saw them their set lasted about an hour, but they only played about seven songs with all the banter, even so it was excellent.
I took an entire garden furniture set (it was cheap plastic) from the front garden of a house. The only thing was it belonged to one of the most notorious families around here, most of whom are now in prison, so not the best people to rob from.
Don't care what the weather is (well almost anyway) or whether you're showing or playing, Im always up for it.
Went out the other night, though dark it was a bit early and a few dog walkers about and it was absolutely freezing, even the dogs didn't want to get out of the car!
Well its along way off and i don't know what I'm doing next week let alone next April, but I would be very grateful if you could put my name down. Thank you
Maxima,a friendly tip. Maybe if you put the area you are in in your subject line you wouldn't get so many people looking without leaving any replies as you are in a relatively remote part of the UK.
I looked at your post out of interest but then saw where you are and can't help you.
Actually, the one that uses the Clash 'I Fought the Law'. Dont know what its about, i just like the music

I once drove 100 miles for one of those!
I can be out as soon as it gets dark, often on my way home from work during the winter, depending on what part of the country I've been in.
And in the summer I've often got home in broad daylight having seen the sunrise over the bonnet of a Sierra!
For what its worth, here's my advice-
Don't expect miracles.
Get yourself known a bit more by telling people a bit more about yourself and replying to other threads
Be patient
Don't hijack other peoples threads
Have fun

Gigantic by The Pixies
And this I know
His teeth as white as snow
What a gas it was to see him
Walk her every day
Into a shady place
With her lips she said
She said
Hey Paul, Hey Paul, Hey Paul, let's have a ball
Gigantic, gigantic, gigantic
A big big love
Gigantic, gigantic, gigantic
A big big love
Lovely legs they are
What a big black mess
What a hunk of love
Walk her every day into a shady place
He's like the dark, but I'd want him
Hey Paul, Hey Paul, Hey Paul, let's have a ball
Gigantic, gigantic, gigantic
A big big love
Gigantic, gigantic, gigantic
A big big love
Gigantic, gigantic, gigantic
A big big love
Gigantic, gigantic, gigantic
A big big love
I take your point Silk and Big G, but as a single voyeur, I am always grateful to any couple who choose to show to me and I was brought up to show respect and be thankful. smile
