Just cuz its a dog eat dog world...
Actually I have just gotten back into London from Canterbury... havent had my fix for the day.....
As I was raise to respect yur elders and be polite to the ladies, I just cant go by a car stranded on the side...
Just today on the M25 a young lady had her Saab on the side... already had bombed by her by the time I realized she was there... Up to the Reigate exit and do the flip flop. She had run out of petrol.. lucky her... I just happen to always carry a tank in the car for just such emergencies... gassed her up got her on her way... a thank you and a smile... that was my reward... dont need nothing else...
I believe that if you continue to be polite and courteous that eventually it will rub off on ppl... I know that there are some that are just not able to do it but it doesnt stop me from trying.
As a side note.. if anyone sees a blaze orange clubby on the side PLS STOP... thanks..
Welcome to the rat pack....
For my soul mate - WantsToDance
Soul Mate by Orpheus
we meet on the street
my true love and i
by chance or by fate
i cannot decide
but there's another
not me at her side
i know the moment
her eyes lock with mine
i've gone through my life
ignorant and blind
the taste on my lips
of water not wine
i've known love before
in some other time
before she is gone
i see in her eye
a thousand, thousand
lives shared, she and i
i cannot despair
i know in my heart
together at times
but never apart
she's one of my dreams
my soul's other part
**sigh**

CONGRATS...............
I remember those days.... ohhhh sooooooooo looooooooooong agooooooooooooooooooo
I wouldnt worry bout it... if they know what it is then they will just smile... if they dont, they will wonder if you have teeth in that thing of yours and his... :giggle: :giggle:
My last gf was a gusher... god do i miss her... she could and would literally make a puddle in the bed (american king size) so large that it was impossible to sleep on it without being near the center of the "Spot". If we were in any other position she would spray almost as good as Cytherea.
*sigh* Wish I never had to do my military stint... she didnt agree with the military and left due to this... with my baby girl... :upset: :upset: :upset: :upset: .. tried to convince her that it was my duty but she just hated anything the military stood for and up sticks to mom and dads... Oh well.......... better to love and lost than to never have loved at all..... but sure do miss my little girl... :inlove: :inlove:
If its not toooooo late... count me in for this one.. i am in the country at that time... for now.
Did once have a crush on young lady when I was in my 20's... she and I bantered all the time with no possiblity of a relationship in the cards at the time.. :upset:
Met her several years later, it was like we were never apart, spent several days together and then parted ways... great memories. Still keep in contact.. still wonder what if, what could have been... she sometimes emails me with the same thoughts that i was having at that moment.. spooky. We have gone several months with no contact then almost at the same instant emails are flowing.. for some reason she always knows when and what i think and vice versa... really great just too bad that we didnt keep it together... but she is a soulmate.. one of two that i have in this world - lucky me. i have found not one but two.. neither are my wife but they are there none the less....
Is anyone going to watch the sun rise tomorrow morn?
Last time I went was two yrs ago but the sun rise was GRAND. Thinking about attending this year. Anyone else?
My choice was based on my affinity with networking gear, plus when I worked at Cisco everyone thought that I ate, drank, and slept with my 6k box as there was not anyone else around that knew it as well as I did. Hence ciscocat6k, as to my chatroom REGISTERED id, it is actually part of my name and as I wanted to make sure that it was unique the word one was added to the end. Hence the dbestone................. I know corny name but everyone has always called be dbest as I never turn away from a challenge and once undertaken I doggedly go at it until I have become the best that I can at it.. usually much to the chagrin of many of my peers.
Mind like a steel trap... too bad its rusty
SOZ Helen.... they should have at least given you the opportunity to improve.
but on the bright side. If you are a good project manager, my company has an opening! Just a thought.
