well, it might just be me, but it appears SH is having one of its 'cycles' again ...rolleyes
sometimes it does this....people stay away, go back to normality for a bit...have 'other stuff' going on, whatever that may be....get a bit disillusioned with the whole thing or just generally bored/ pissed off/ full on flounced off in a fit of huffyness lol ...threads dont run with much enthusiasm and the forum particularly feels like a bit of a chore. Am I wrong? dunno
Less people = quiet forum/ site = not much happening = boredom sets in = people get fed up and lose their posting boots or just get on with vanilla/other stuff that's been mounting up for months ...decorating/ paperwork/ vanilla mates/ work / ironing etc etc...
but, with two good Munches coming up, it probably wont be long before we're up and running at full steam ahead again....but, where are you now? what are you up to if you're not spending time here (god I'm nosey) and are you feeling the tumbleweed too, or is it just me? (incidentally, I havent had a shag me pm in over a fortnight so I know things are bad rotflmao lol )
Me, I'm buried under the biggest mound of paperwork, preparation for Ofsted inspections and uni coursework - up to my neck in it actually :scared: but still lurking around waiting for the SH black cloud to fook off and the sun to come out lol
check in here

I'm new to this game! I see mention of munches in pubs where the landlord approves! Are there "swinging pubs"? Are they listed? Are there any in the London - B'ham - Bristol triangle?

Hiya Phil
as suggested, have a read of this : http://www.swingingheaven.co.uk/terminology/munch.html
I dont know as there are such things as 'swinger's pubs' - its usually where the owner/licencee is a swinger themselves or is open-minded as to the lifestyle...but we're not about to publish details of them - swingers 'clubs' are different, and are published, up there ^^^^^^ lol I know of at least 5 pub owners here on SH but it would be up to them to let you know who they are wink but its usually the case of still adhereing to site rules and having private functions exclusively for people they know/ site members.
In the case of Munches, its usually that the owner/manager is in communication with the organiser & is aware that we're all from an adult internet site (..or a steel workers reunion/book club/national quiz team lol Some know its a 'swingers social', others even know what site, but most are happy to simply count the takings at the end of the night & dont ask questions!) Organisers give them the relevant info out of courtesy to them and the vanilla bar staff so they are suitably aware of possible sexy dress/ snogging that wouldnt usually take place at ya Uncle Pete's 50th birthday party lol
hope that helps wink
lol well, as long as she knows it will go frizzy and look like she's stuck her finger in a plug socket (been there, done that lol) and be in terrible condition for the forseeable future, then let her get on with it
you never know, duracell orange might be all the rage by the time she gets back from school tomorrow :giggle:, that, or get a bandana lol
It probably will fade to yellow-blonde with another application....and then white blonde with another one on top :scared: but the orange remnants of a jet black dye are an absolute bastard to get out...
the alternative is......... i dunno if i dare say it, but if you want supermum status back......
cut the lot off to about 3 inch long and cheat by getting her extensions done (you're paying, btw) instead  lol
dye it dark again, semi permanent 24 wash type stuff - after bleaching it her hair will be dry and brittle and probably wont take the bleach again without doing some serious damage (splitting/ breaking/ frizziness)
to get the blonde, you'll have to use more bleach (peroxide) - which means (a) getting the residue dark colour pigments from the black out (which is why its orange) and (b) then again to get the white blonde colour :scared:
a semi permanent brown will do the job temporarily, 20 minutes in the morning and she'll be respectable enough for school...it might work really well with the home highlighting two-tone kits too...but ffs dont use the 1 wash in- wash out sachets cos she'll never ever forgive you for it if it runs in the rain or during PE or sommat and she ends up looking a bit stripey! :scared:
Isnt that the same feeling you get as the couple of minutes post-superstrengthorgasm when your legs turn to jelly and you grin like a fookin cheshire cat? dunno
rotflmao
As it stands, without confirmations at present, there's not enough folk going to qualify for the 10% group discount on tickets.... but for those who do want advance tickets, I'll be in Derby for work on Tues and will have chance to pick more up for those who want me to.
I can only front the money for people I know, sorry.
Let's just hope my boots arrive on time now! :scared:
i'm on me way lol
edit : no i'm not, fookin thing saw me coming and stuck a lock on the door rotflmao

And to the second point Darkfire, I will be in touch with you in due course  But I notice on your profile Darkfire you are not looking for fellas, so whats going on here? dunno

I dont meet single blokes hun, but that doesnt mean i'm not interested in hearing your advice (as a single bloke) on how to meet one, from your perspective dunno

I love it.. very much.
receiving- cos no matter whether it is a finger/tongue/cock or dildo it is tight and has loads of sensation and a brilliant feeling of being full.

Oooo, I like that reason Splendid lol
i think its the whole 'wrong' idea like Marya says that makes it more appealing to me redface Shock tactics work everytime lol
No probs Calista - one, or both of us will need to leave earlier than the 2am finish time cos of babysitters/ work in morning too
if anyone else is interested in coming, can you get in touch asap as I want to order the tickets asap

Debz, I see you've changed your profile and its heading in the right direction.
My PM box is open if you want more tips to finding the right fella wink

I don't agree Liasons, at all. If she ('scuse that Debz) alters it any more to be all fluffy and non-specific about who & what she's looking for she'll be bloody innundated by all the other chancers, latcher-onners and muppets she's trying not to meet!
I'd be very interested to read your advice on meeting the right fellas too, btw
it's not an arguement St3v3, its a genuine 'what if?' concern!
there's no point me asking for references to this so-called scientific data to investigate the claims for myself, cos environmental science isnt my forte lol, but, I do wish I'd watched the programme now dunno
is the polar ice melt and rising lea levels bollox too then? dunno
I didnt watch the programme, but I have a great big  hanging over this issue - in terms of a 'what if' .
there is a hole in the ozone layer, attributed to CFC's and co2 pollutants, is there not?
and that's a huge factor in the whole global warming threat, isnt it?
i dunno, I'm not a climatologist nor do I know the ins and outs, but I do think we'd be foolish to ignore the warnings and poo poo it as a 'scandal' dunno
I'm still too haunted by the isolated polar bears on a melting glacier photo in a national newspaper recently to have an informed oppinion on this dunno
ok then.....
whydo you like giving it ? dunno what's 'good' about it? dunno (and that's to blokes generally not to you personally Mano....although you can answer it if you wish  rotflmao )
innocent
bumping just one of the anal related threads from the archives for those who wanted to know in forum chat :giggle: and for newbie participation
the new question, directed at the ladies, is a simple one ... do you like anal ? dunno
and for the blokies - do you like giving it
Debz, dont ever compromise your wants, ideals and standards hun! it may be 'picky', but imo that doesnt make you a bad swinger!
and as for negativity , I've met you and you're stunning, and if your fem friend is who i think it is, you two together come across as far from ewwwwwww! in fact, you probably intimidate the life out of most single blokes lol
as with the dogging angle, I have heard (and seen) that the 'need' for attraction doesnt need to be there with some people, especially in clubs, dogging or even some group situations - every hole's a goal, a cock's a cock, regardless of who its attatched to ...in the heat of a horny moment I guess it doesnt matter dunno
its precisely that bit of all this swinging malarchy (lol) I dont 'get', probably never will - because for me there most definately needs to be an attraction, both physical or mental, that also exists outside of the 'sexual situation' to even think about playing! dunno

I've just finished Skin Gods by Richard Montinari. Bit grisly in places but damn good

Ooooo biggrin that's next on my list - spotted it for under £4 in the supermarket last night but chose Pig Island by Mo Hayder instead ....it's worth reading but isnt quite as terrifying as it's made out to be, that, or I'm just desensitised to psych-thrillers now dunno
I read it in one sitting though so it's a page turner...but the really interesting bits are too brief, for me dunno
Can anyone recommend me a really good edge-of-ya-seat OMG type thriller? tonight I'm on Patricia Cornwell's new one

I don't like them either, the last time I went to a circus and saw a baby elephant performing ....

but, what is 'free'?
moved from the circus to a zoo?
how the hell do they get hold of these 'wild' animals in the first place? dunno
I'd have wanted to 'set it free' too Jaymar...but it's not like you could open the cage and let it run off back to the wild, or take it home and look after it, is it  lol
I'm off to google and do some research, cos the bee in me bonnet wont shut up wink
I supose, in my head, there's no big debate... I dont agree with it, so she's not going. Simple.
BUT
just because of my oppinion on it, do I have the right to say 'no you cant go' - when on the face of it, its just a circus ffs! It's MY issues with the zebra thing that means I wont go and I dont want to be part of putting money into the circus's (sp??) pocket ..... I could get one of my friends to take her, if they're going, so she at least gets to experience a travelling circus at an age where she'll love it ..... but the decision has been made for her, and not in a 'education and guidance' way, more a 'mum putting her foot down and imposing her beliefs' way dunno
blimey - this is a headache!
and then there's the issue of whether animals should be in a circus or not in the first place
I dont really want to open the can of worms to be honest...parenting classes might be a better option! lol
after a major tantrum (cue screaming her head off and telling how much she hates me :scared: how I'm a crap mum who never lets her do anything she wants , yadda yadda and storming off to her room with full on waterworks turned on and a door slammed so hard it almost took the wall out rolleyes) I managed to shout louder and explain that I feel its cruel.....
and fook me, she's agreed. Says she doesnt want to go now *phew* because zebras are suposed to live in Africa
but, there must be plenty of people who don't feel the way I do, otherwise these things wouldnt exist anymore, surely?
Ooo a debate thread lol
I'm just wondering what people think, generally, about 'performing animals' in a circus.
I've just learnt that there's one coming a few miles away which features horses & goats, and allegedly Zebras.
Of course, daughter has already heard from school friends and is begging to go..... and I feel soooo torn....because my head says there's absolutely no way!! I'm very not comfortable with the idea of 'performing' animals, particularly within a big top environment (regardless of what kind of animal)...but the fact that they have Zebras doesnt sit well with me at all. I cant imagine these creatures 'performing' in all the heat & noise, being transported all over the country etc AND on principalhate the thought of paying for tickets means they will continue to use these animals in the future........but I'm up against a 7 year old with an attitude lol and I do feel bad that my oppinions on this effectively mean she isnt going to no damn circus :jagsatwork:
There are only 7 ciruses left that include animals in their 'performances' - I actually thought it was illegal in the UK to use anything other than dogs and horses (Palomino/ dressage included) tbh, but evidently it isnt  ...so is it a dying tradition/ art form which should be preserved if the animals are given utmost care...... or are circuses things of the past?
what do you think? dunno
Not yet sweetie, but you can join in ours if you want
I just added 'knife-throwing for beginners' to the list of possible activities and we could deffo do with a volunteer for the strap-on workshop wink lol
