It confuses the hell out of me when people start changing thier username
you do kinda get 'known' and are instantly recognisable by name....its fine for folk who are here regularly, or are very familiar with you and know about the change when it actually happens, but to newbies or others who log in 3 days later, without a 'aka' or 'formerly known as' in the sig I wouldnt have a clue lol
but then I still 'recognise' folk as I did as a noob - by name or avatar pic lol

sean xxxxxxxx

 Nice one Sean
I know we've done this before, but I cant find the thread to bump it up redface
have you got snow this morning? what's it like where you are?
usually in general threads like this everyone has a quick post, including noobs, we can check in on each other and raise awareness for anyone travelling (especially useful with 2 Munches and a social this weekend wink)
Today I have no car (MOT day :scaredsmile its my day off & we've walked to school in the snow, which was wonderful! hardly anything at 7am when I got up...its now coming down thick and fast :bounce: :bounce: Snake Pass on Saturday could be fun if this continues
so, come on - did you get up to a white-out and feeling like a big kid today? or is snow a major inconvenience for you?
to those on the roads today - take care!
wave hiya Michelle
I'm not going to the Essex doo so cant help with the drinkies thing...but...you do have a pm :thumbup
Ooooo, SH: the magazine.
never mind the questions, think of the implications.

A ballgown?
I don't own a dress never mind a ballgown! confused
DG wanders off to ponder the nick of her wardrobe!

Me either DG! - done it once, not doing it again!
but please folk, stop panicking over the theme ! I bought it up because there hasnt been much mention of the theme but knew there was one.... you dont have to do the theme at all if you dont want to , same as any Munch - its just a giggle, that's all - for those who do want to dress up, any dress will do, it doesnt need to be a 'ball gown'!! :scared:
Some will have something suitable that they wore for my doo back in Sept, charity shops and Ebay are fab for bargains....think Valentines....think red...lovey dovey fluffy stuff....think seduction & romance.....think...sexy :rascal: ...think optional!!!
says she, who doesnt do dresses, or fluff, or romance :giggle:
you get the idea...i'll be going now! bolt
I'm not sure if I've missed it somewhere....but...on page 1 the theme is Valentines Ball...
is that still the theme? are folk dressing up? have ballgowns been hit on the head and something else been suggested?
is anyone doing fancy dress? dunno
ditto - it wasnt there earlier...
but, as much as its against the rules, its a very good flipa at those who didnt bother turning up, isnt it? lol

i dont check out the ads on the site so basically if i dont come across someone on the forums or chat they dont exist, maybe i am lmiting myself but i have found no problems in finding someone if i want to.

I only really go for a nosey in the ads section when I'm killing time or checking who's registered and is a bit too close to me lol but I have a major habit of checking posters profiles redface - many of those are like little adverts now anyway and if something appeals in there, you can guarantee i'm off to nosey at their ad lol
What grabs me?.....
god, this is actually quite hard isnt it - its far easier to say what you dont like than what you do lol
I tend to be very drawn to profiles/ ads that are well written - it shows the thought that's gone into it, and quite detailed in their content - for the same reason biggrin They grab me when they're very specific and straight-up dunno alot of folk dont like that, but to me its just so easy then to read, see if I match, and if I dont...wave and it tends to be the 'type' of people I'd 'go for' that do the 'this is how it is, if you like it, pm me' thing lol
I posted in Scandal's thread about the one that was worded & titled 'are We what You're looking for' - regardless of content, it was enough to make me go have a 2nd and 3rd look
lol
we just posted the same thread at the same time rotflmao
mine's deleted, lets run this one
Quote by varca
Ohhh just thought... what if all 20 turned up? :eeek:

no worries there Varca , THAT just wouldnt happen lol
Kudos to the two who did then eh?
unfortunately its a fact of life that many people get off on just thinking about it and the motions of planning it, with no intention of turning up  but those are the few who spoil it for the rest poke
next time perhaps consider guys you already know & who will feel some sense of comeback if they dont turn up, strangers in LMU quite simply dont have that concern wink
I've just seen one, not a turn off at all, and so simple but effective (to me anyway)... the ad is worded 'Are we what you're looking for?'
what a breath of fresh air in the middle of 'we want..' 'I want..' and 'meet me tonight's...people, there is light at the end of the tunnel
I tried all the faffing around last night.... I'm in the My Eyes Can't Take This & have a headache after 20 minutes camp still, even though I like the overall new look and am not getting the overlap and other issues people are reporting ....
but something in my head says 'hang on a minute, the problem is with the colour scheme/ brightness/ blue hue or simply text size of the site, why do I have to go altering browsers and other settings which affect my puter away from SH rather than Admin sorting something here on the site ? confused

Singles pairing up to get into clubs on a couples only night is not exactly honest. Many of the regular couples at a couples only night go on those nights to avoid singles because they only want to play and socialise with established couples. They may not wish to play with two singles masquerading as a couple.

Granted, but, out of interest, how 'established' do people need to be to be a 'couple'? maybe its my thinking, but if two people go to a club together, they establish themselves as a couple for that evening...or at least 'buddys'? dunno which is what I meant by being manufactured or by mutual arrangement - not simply going in as a couple then splitting off once inside. Do you mean only established couples as in married/ long-term partners?

Cherry- try pressing Ctrl + on your keyboard- it increases text size on the forum in increments- Ctrl- reverses it. Just checked it for ya, and it does work.

Ooo, can you explain to me please, cos I'm thick, i've tried that and its not working here  dunno ctrl and + at the same time?
I think I've got this right... when I'm posting, I can see it i preview, but the previous post's text is huge and I need to scroll either down or across to read the whole thing & because the preview boxes are small/ text is huge...
and, this bit might be just me... but when I hit submit and I go to view that post, its actually 'gone up' before the previous contributors post :dontknow: <<<that makes no sense does it lol ok, the most recent post isnt entering the thread in 'most recent post' position, its going nextdoor but one backwards
aww feck it, i know what I meant loon

What we lot do in the 'black males for white fems' chat room is pair off the single males with single females so us single guys can get in cheapo rate :bounce:
At the last count we have 15 - 20 couples going to chams on a Friday night!
Single guys organise yourselves & fight the power! flipa

which is fine....if you stay as manufactured couples  Its been done sucessfully at a couple of socials then a club afterwards, by mutual agreement - I still say be very aware that some guys, as NN has said, will 'pair up' just to get in then bugger off on their own, and the club then has the problem of lone blokes in there on couples night and single fems responsible for getting them in in the first place
Gawd, i', missing posts out as well as not being able to see the text clearly still  - Sorry Se&en redface

I agree Phoenix, when ever i have been to a club (never been as a single) i have seen a few single men hanging around outisde canvassing the queue for single females to make a couple in order to get in cheap.
No doubt they woud just use them as a meal ticket and drop them as soon as they get in.
Not on really.

exactly
rotflmao it is at this point that i ought to leave this thread well alone wink
but, on the up side, I do like male company in a club as in someone to go with/ sit with/ play body guard in the jacuzzi (:thumbupsmile ..but it'll only ever be on my invitation, my terms and if I'm flush, I'll pay for us both because its me who's asked... using fems as a meal ticket into a club because a guy cant get in on his own ...ooo lets just not go there! evil

this quoted from the equal opps commission:
Lord Faulkner's bill proposes amending the Sex Discrimination Act so that private clubs, which have more than 25 members and have both men and women as members, are banned from offering unequal membership.
Already this year, the Equal Opportunities Commission has received more than 70 complaints from people, about restricted membership of private clubs facilities.

Just a thought...Andy you're not seriously thinking of taking the equal opps thing any further are you?
anyway, regardless, as a single fem here I personally would not attend clubs at all if a blanket entry fee of say £20 applied to all due to sexual discrimination/ equal opps PC correctness - that's my personal view - because I do not want to see swinging clubs overrun by single blokes which is, imo, what would happen....and in turn, some fems (both single and female halves of couples) would simply stay away, defeating the object for everyone.
I dont think you could limit the number - I dont know any clubs where you can pre-book, so everyone just turns up on the night - turning guys away because there are already 30 in there who arrived earlier than you just isnt worth the hassle.
(1) age/ size unimportant...
(2) Thanks to the other peeps I've already met on here...I'm now looking for...
(3) D&D free rolleyes
(4) "into bareback"
(5) Cant accomodate or drive
(6) not into email tennis
i'm sure there's more, just cant think of them lol
the 'any bi fem will do' type wording goes without saying too lol
Life is never fair, is it lol
I think the high costs for single guys is to effectively sort the wheat from the chaff : asking £40 to get in on top of (yes, extortionate) membership fees goes some way to ensuring that the clubs 'get' single guys who are committed to swinging - in the sense that passing stag parties looking for a quick shag just wont pay that kind of money & the club hopefully attracts blokes who wont overstep the mark & risk losing their membership through unacceptable behaviour....
but..... (and there's always one of those lol) it's a bit of a double-edged sword really isnt it? I also think the high costs contribute to the 'well, I want what I've paid for' attitude - but that's a whole other thread wink
I dont think its sexual discrimination tbh, not in the context you're speaking of Andy - I think its more supply and demand and clubs simply have to have a way of keeping single male numbers down dunno
ooo and I just read this bit:
Quote by andy2120
On the subject of certain neights:
I see they couples & ladies nights, why dont they have just single nights, like no couples allowed? (maybe 60: 40 ratio, F:M)?

simply because it wouldnt work - not as a weekly thing anyway, maybe monthly....but your suggested ratio deffo wouldnt work (imo) because there just arnt enough single fems who use clubs (or attend alone) to make it happen dunno
ok, so far, I like it .... I just cant fookin see it!
I've tried the View and Increase Text Size, but I am proper struggling to read it, especially when people have other's quotes in their post dunno
In preview, the text is huge!
so, it basically of no use to me whatsoever as I can only read the posts that have been done in bold text by the poster confused
Elliot speakeths the truth, follow the instructions and it all becomes clear
However....... confused - lol the text is smaller isnt it -? dunno whatever it is, its not as easy to read atm
and I cant see any pics/ avatars  scrap that, i can see em now
but, maybe its still settling down or i need specs... so I'll reserve judgement til I get back later biggrin
I'm a caffeine freak lol I cant function in the mornings until I've had at least a couple of cups of good strong coffee, come break time I crave it just as much as I do a fag
Its a little off-topic, but one of my favorite things in the world is to sit chatting to a friend / someone new over fresh coffee, fag in hand, putting the world to rights - its habit, I enjoy it & its also part of the 'package' I buy into in the social scene here - and I'm dreading July  wtf am I gonna do then? no smoking in public places = no more coffee meets unless I review my no house-calls policy or simply stop smoking because someone else says i'm not allowed to (:kicksmile
