Unfortunately. to some people, it can be a bit more than that - from 'aquiantances', to friends, to people finding each other through the site and falling in love. Its rare, but it happens, and some people do tend to look out for one another around here.
When that guy saw you in a club with someone else, I presume he didnt know you and hubby were swingers - so was doing what he felt was right and didnt want it on his conscience. To have it throw back in his face (or smacked, as the case may be) is rather extreme, when all he was doing was being honest
People will act on their instinct & what they feel is right to do regardless of wether their advice, warnings or revelations are heeded or welcomed by the recipient, because when / if things ever do go tits up, it wont be on thier conscience.
And as for 'thumping her for sticking her nose in' (:shock
, there's a 'why didnt anyone tell me' to even things out which side of the fence you sit on depends on whether you give a fuck about other people, or not Me, I'd risk that smack in the mouth if it means at a later date I would be sitting comfortably in the knowledge of 'I told you so' .

My oppinion - there is no right or wrong, best way etc, its what feels right to you.....and the more you try to plan it/ orchestrate it/ make some ideal in your head about how it will be, the higher the chance that it wont! just go with the flow hun, it'll happen in time & in my experience its the stuff you dont plan in advance that ends up being incredible
how was your first time, was it with a couple or a single bi female/male, or more than one female/male. Did you, like me only realise your bi side later on in life and how did you feel about potentially exploring it?
when i was in my teens, being bi or lesbian was a big no-no within my circle of friends, it was guys all the way and 'doing women' was wrong
so it was never really something I thought or fantasised about we always did the whole girly linking arms, dirty dancing with eachother in nightclubs etc but it was an attention thing not an attraction thing One night we were all a bit pissed and me & a mate ended up full on snogging, shocked the hell out of everybody and that was it, flicked a switch in me so to speak but it wasnt til about 3 years ago that I actually did owt about it. Out with a vanilla friend and she pulls some bloke I cant stand & the feeling was mutual, cutting a long story short we ended up sleeping at his place, her with him and me on the sofa playing gooseberry
, a short while later he wasnt exactly floating her boat and god knows how but i kinda took over while he watched - and then went to sleep and left us to it

I'm not much of a film buff/cinema goer I guess, but what I do like is psychological thrillers & will still say to date one of the best films I've seen is Silence of the Lambs (the book is far better though) - had me on the edge of my seat and whooping at the end cos I thought the 'having an old friend for dinner' bit was fookin genius!
it sounds daft but old films, esp with scenes of someone being followed (the camera moving behind them) scare me stupid cos you just know its coming but dont know when

summer solstice is 21st June if that makes any difference Pete none of us can commit to this, make plans or anything until you as the organiser post a date and be damned! you cant please all people all of the time, and like Earthy I have stuff booked on particular dates that there's no way of bending from, so maybe the new PA can help find out when the 'venue' has availablility and then just thow a date at us eh?

or, if it doesnt have to be spring, late June , for the midsummer solstice
Beltane has a good 'theme' for us lot and some interesting rituals that could be adopted for fun
