Did you find a steam room on your travels in the archives Cali? dunno
if ever we've needed one, its now.
I'm sorry folks, I'm pulling this already.
there's no way I'm putting my name to, and organising something that brings people together who place trust in me to organise something under the 'regular or known member safety and discretion' claus that is now effectively null and void.
Can a Mod lock this.

I could really use some anger management therapy right now lol

you might need therapy afterwards HLB :lol2:
After 5 games on Saturday I was out of ammo, the only way of saving my team was to kamikaze (aka run) (aka Darkfire lolloping, in a camoflage-stle babygro) like a fookin lunatic toward the 'enemy' shouting "barrrrrrrrstarrrdddds" then writhing about on the woodland floor and rolling down a bank squealing like a pig as all opposing teams paintguns turned on me and shot me good and proper :rotflamo:
Its definately no good for anger management hun, why you think I need to go again? rotflmao
I have discovered a new passion in life :lol2:
I am at this moment black and blue, covered in bruises, and I love it! I've discovered the joys of Paintball! rotflmao (yes, seriously)
Now, my vanilla mates arn't mad enough for this, so, any of you folk I know, am familiar with from the forum or can be vouched for by someone I know, fancy running round woods playing shoot-em-up with guns that fire paintballs at 200mph+ and the aim of the game is to not get shot (because it hurts :gigglesmile please register your interest here or drop me a pm. This is not for people to spectate or 'sit out' to watch someone you know play....if you're coming, you're playing! You dont have to be a pro (i've only played it twice!) or even have done this before, but you do need to be ready for some serious fun and prepared to get a bit battered and bruised :lol2:
It will be a social meet only (vanilla Marshalls & other teams present)& costs for paintball start from to £35 each depending on date & wether you wanna play half-day or full day. It will be in North Notts before September -thats as much details as i'm giving in public wink
All further details available by pm, this is just to gauage interest, I'll organise from there if there's enough people for a team - looking for 10+ initially to make it viable to set a date/ book/ start looking at social drinkies & hotels to make a package of it but ideally 20 so we can play each other
So, are you game? dunno

sorry, it just tickled me :lol2:

Insomnia is a friend of mine....one that won't take a hint and feck off! lol

Oo you know Insomnia too?
she's not my friend though, she always hangs out with my life-long enemy Red Mist and I dont like her much evil She makes me do things like bounce off walls and type and delete posts about 20 times with steam power  Thankfully, I either burn myself out before hitting the submit button or banish it to the archives of Word to look over at a later date and :giggle: to msyelf just how irate I can get in the wee small hours over fook all :scared: , or, I ring my mate Jack and he'll come round and sort her out - & those two have a proper personality clash sometimes! rotflmao

(doesnt matter what he said, he's here! lol)

Oooo I say!! a sight for sore eyes indeed Calista
I do, seriously, think you've got a blinder of a fun thread there HLB, and, for the sake of a bit of fun injection into the forum (and dinner/night out with someone), I'm game
I supose we'd have to kiss some serious arse in order to get Admin to agree to masquerade log-in's though rolleyes :lol2:
ooo look, a hijack rotflmao
Quote by HornyLittleBlonde
I did once consider doing a "Blond Date" from here where we get the contestants.
A lovely lady asks the questions and 3 guys post their answers under masquerade logins then you make your choice and go out for a nice cyber date.

:scared:
wash your mouth out with soap young lady smackbottom lol
actually, I think that'd be a crackin' idea redface :giggle: - til its my turn to ask the questions and the thread goes dead rotflmao
Its great to be a woman because....
I like being in the clique that will eventually rule the world and have you subservient blokes on your knees, where you should be
mmmwaahh haa haaa haaaaa rotflmao
(you can make your own minds up whether I'm serious or not :twistedsmile

I loved the post from HLB, it got me thinking. That would be my perfect scenario, but as I said, its rare for that to happen, but when it does, the result is amazing. HLB and Dammie are testament to that. I don't recall ever meeting a more happy couple. Makes me kinda jealous though!

And that only works if you get together because you want to be with that particular person (as opposed to looking to get together with swinger).
worship nail and head HLB
I cant really relate to the whole 'looking for someone' thing, its not on my radar ...but your post, and particularly the bit above needs a glass cover and a frame to mount it in wink

hmmmm darky mmmmmmmm

Mike

you're welcome :lol2:
it only works like that if she does a :quiver: - :shudder: is a whole different ballgame :giggle:
I like the towel look on other fems.... they look so...vulnerable
it can stay on/around if she's a little self concious, but could be whipped off in one quick tug leaving her naked and open....the short ones just skim past the curves of her ass and leave a little, just enough, to the imagination.... and I love it how, if I'm looking at her, a fem who's a bit nervous will pull the towel up over her boobs more or keep checking the bit that's holding it all up is still tucked in and secure in a kind of oh-shit-shes looking at me gesture :giggle:

I have (despite appearances) cut the hijacking out a lot, mainly as I feel that I may go to far and go to the place I don't want to go - hijacking for the sake of it.

but, is it hijacking for the sake of it or hijacking because you don't feel able to say what you want to (eggshell syndrome) ? wink
Quote by jaymar
Essex has brought to light a very good topic. So what is a hijack? Can a little bit of fun in between posts be allowed?
It comes to something when a slight little joke within a thread is construed as being a hijack?
It's little wonder people don't bother posting - the fun is disappearing.. again.

Personally speaking, a little bit of fun in between posts isnt a hijack imo (see Blonde's above :gigglesmile, a little in-joke run of a few posts isnt really a hijack (imo) - I think we all like that really, the quick quips/smart comments and a couple of people batting off each other.....
it becomes an issue (again, imho) when the hijack goes on and on, quote on quote on quote, 2 or more people doing their own thing mid-thread until (a) the point of the thread is lost or (b) it appears to those who might have posted on topic to be a bit 'cliquey, private joke, or interrupting...and they dont post at all
me too Blonde  ...but, its pretty evident at the moment that there are many others who arn't thinking that way dunno
Quote by essex34m
... im asking, because of peoples fears of the consequences, do they then choose to hijack, as it means they can contribute to the forums (not necessarily the topic)?

ah, I get you
is hijacking contributing? dunno
and sometimes (particularly in serious discussion threads or other more lighthearted ones that are 'designed' really to encourage or enable people to post without treading on eggshells), doesnt hijacking mean the thread is effectively reduced to 2 or 3 people posting one-line bollox for the sake of it to the point where the thread question/ topic is lost and therefore rendered useless (other than for those doing the hijack)?
I do think there's a time and place for all posts, even bantery hijack ones , but not at the expense of threads/ discussion/ other people then not feeling able to post at all ( because the point of the thread has gone) and certainly not because its a means of still posting but effectively doing a cover-up job on other issues that you want to speak up on but darent wink
Can you clarify the question Essex?
I'm not sure how 'not feeling able to say what you think' then becomes an 'excuse' for hijacking threads dunno , nor do I think it's ever really going to be a reasonable excuse for hijacking any threads
I can however see how this could be a discussion on hijacking..... or it could be a discussion on 'not feeling able to post what I think'
or can i just not see what you're asking? lol
help :dunno:

as unknown 'newbies' with new accounts, and with an organiser like NWC who knows what she's doing, they wouldnt have got in the Munch anyway wink
and i know i'm being pedantic hun, but surely the 'permission' to attend a Munch ultimately rests with the organiser, not Admin (4Tops) dunno

Darkfire kiss
Nicks have been registered here for Years and have never been used ......... they could have picked one of those!
All I am saying is they were honest ........ and were hung drawn and quartered for it!
Sam xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

but in theory, even an old name...fabricated name/ length of account/post count/ whatever ...would still be down to the organiser/guestlist organiser to ..."V" :giggle: (:uhohsmile ....and with the 'current and active' clause plus a vouch by someone more regular/known would still mean they wouldnt get on the list (i did say in theory lol, but its stuff like this that underlines, for me, exactly why we have those rules)
imagine the uproar if Admin/SHMEditor/NWC hadnt been honest, somehow got on the list and all this had come out in the wash after the event  :scared:
Quote by blonde
I have to say this ......... and I know some people aint gonna like it but ......................
I assume the SH 4 Tops were honest and said that the editor of the SH Magazine and a friend were going to attend a munch???
Why did they bother? dunno
They should have just sent them under bogus nicks and not been honest ..... then no-one would have been any the wiser and this shite wouldn't have happened!!!

as unknown 'newbies' with new accounts, and with an organiser like NWC who knows what she's doing, they wouldnt have got in the Munch anyway wink
and i know i'm being pedantic hun, but surely the 'permission' to attend a Munch ultimately rests with the organiser, not Admin (4Tops) :dunno:
Now then, where were we?..... oh yes, Munches Munch Attendees no less
wink
