Well, at first I thought my eyes were decieving me...but they're not...
so it is with the very greatest of pleasure & bouncing about like a fookin schoolkid (for reasons some of you may understand) that I post this to say bloody Welcome Back Lovejoy68 - you have noooo idea how good it is to see you back home passionkiss
posting boots are over there >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< bar is thattaway, & I have a stool next to mine 'specially reserved with your name on it (you nearly had a bench with a plaque instead, ffs :drysmile drinkies ....and you are sooo in deep shit (once I stop grinning like a cheshire cat  ) smackbottom
it is good to see you
sorry about this, but, if anyone has Pete SW's moby/contact number would you please pm me and pass on a message ?

Why do i believe everything thats said to me? Im worried that if i become all cynical and guarded then that wont be me.

Suze hun, even when folk are guarded & cynical about other people's motivations, dont trust as far as they could throw etc etc and have the twatometer set on high alert 24/7, they still get taken in sometimes
So dont change - take a deep breath, thank your self for actually not being that guillable (or you wouldnt be posting this!) and move on
bugger Sarah, you beat me to it, was just gonna pm the link to this thread rotflmao
nice idea tho' Dave wink

Grab my neck in the throes of passion & I turn into a quivering wreck- but thats another topic
entirely innocent

I absolutley adore this. But only when done by a certain sort of person. If they're generally a sort of soft person, in personality, then it doesnt work for me.
But if they are a strong opinionated person, and they are quite macho I suppose, then doing this makes me want to pledge my body to them forever!!!
OMG I am soooo in this club!! hump
the other one is if they're stood behind me and do the gravel-voiced-dirty-talk (cockney accent/ gangsta speak works wonders) so its audible to no-one else and I can feel their breath on my skin :quiver:
don't forget the obligatory hair-flick and door-slam on way out Dawnie :lol2:
and then the coming back in 2 minutes later for another go rotflmao
I thought that was just a 'general bloke thing' Laird dunno, so no, it doesnt count! lol
Sorry - this has just popped into my head in the Millionaire thread...but would detract too much so I've put it in here....
I know there's one or two jokers around here, so what is the best (or worst) practical joke you've ever played on someone?
as a kid, I'd be about 10, I remember bandaging my younger sister as if she'd had a serious accident, with head injury, and for added ooomph factor, slapped on a bit of tomato sauce, laid her on the sofa and waited til me Dad got in from work....
little did I know that that particular day, he was shattered, came in absolutely knackered and full-on hit panic mode on seeing her :scared: - it took what seemed an eternity for him to click she wasnt really hurt...and I've never done anything like it since - scared me fookin stupid it did :lol2:
Today, a mate was telling me about someone she knows who has done the absolute ultimate in bad taste practical jokes...and i'm still  at it!
not long after national lottery started up, the bloke of a couple we know gave his Mrs their previous week's lottery tickets to check on teletext/whatever and she does the dawning realisation thing that their numbers have come up and jumps round the house crying and screaming...calls her mom, screams a bit more, collapses crying in complete relief on the floor because their money worries are over, the kids futures are sorted...all the normal stuff that would run through your head if you thought you'd got a winning ticket in your hand...
and he left it 10 minutes before telling her it was just a fake ticket and all a joke ....
they're still together btw , me, i've have shot the bastard :lol2: mad
so, can you top that? would you want to? and have you ever played a practical joke that's gone badly wrong? dunno wink
pmsl rotflmao @ Perfick
should have bloody known someone would pick up on that :lol2:
thankyou, btw.
I'd have the idyllic self-sufficient farmhouse a la Darling Buds and turn it into a superhome for troubled young people, I'd ban all social workers, tick-boxes & gawpers, spend my days home-baking real family meals & my nights counselling by open fire...
In my head its much much more than just that, but fook does it make me sound fluffy redface rotflmao
my very personal opinion, specifically on that point Wide-Boy (and Abilene) , is that that's exactly how it feels sometimes!!
but, lets get back to the suggested 'vanillarisation' of Munches, shall we? wink
Quote by easy

I dont think its fair to lay the blame for the current 'atmosphere around Munches' soley at the door of the Manchester Munch.

I was at the Manchester munch, had a great time and saw nothing out of the ordinary happen. So when these threads come up and all the talk about indecent behaviour etc, I feel like I must have been at a different do! biggrin
Same here. I have yet to find the people who actually witnessed this, or hear any names mention of the people that performed said act. confused :? :?
I'm not saying that it didn't happen, just that all the reports I've heard have been hearsay and sketchy at best.

me too, hence, the 'insert names' bit, and not believing (imo) that this all stems soley from that event but the subsequent behaviour at munchesthread wink
but, I am interested in whether my currently burst munch bubble is simply just me...i've been to too many too often/ whatever and its entirely my own feeling about my experiences & the evolving atmosphere (imo) at the moment that have made me (hopefully temprorarily) fall out of love with them, or if other people are feeling it too dunno
I cant find the original 80 odd pager because the search button hates me .... but, there's some bloody interesting stuff down here!!
Jags has gone and we're discussing the other V word???
fook me, someone resurrect the clock thread and it'll be anarchy in here!! :evil2: can we have kebab shot avatars, can we can we?
Is it really necessary to hijack this thread? go play elsewhere, ffs.
God dammit where's the bloody steam room lol
notice how no-one's gonna touch this can of worms with a bargepole?? lol
awww go on then, you tempted me into it
however , I'll come back to this later after making a couple of initial points:
I dont think its fair to lay the blame for the current 'atmosphere around Munches' soley at the door of the Manchester Munch. If anything, the thread title should be 'the xxxxxx(insert names of twats who caused all this here) xxxxx and thier effect on future Munches...
and, I dont think we can consider the most recent social in this, because we were told on arrival to not use site names, no badges, no kissing fem:fem etc due to the vanilla environment, so in that way it doesnt count.
but yes, there is a difference now with regard to 'spark' and 'edge' imo, and that's nothing to do with the organisation or people behind these events, its the 'uncertainty' and 'vanillarisation' thats the problem.
Welcome home Fred & Wilma :welcome:
now then, for what do we owe this pleasure? is Jags drafting in the special reserves for call-up duty? lol

you dont belong anymore

I do. It comes and goes tbh, a bit like the ebb and flow of the forum.
I never have really considered myself to be a 'full on swinger' so in that respect I'm never going to have a sense of belonging. I do however have it, strongly, towards the 'community' and the site itself.
I think Lost is right:
Sayimg that some of the enjoyment comes from thinking, oh my god here we go again or did they really post that! And the single thumbs up posts/emote ones do my head in big time but at least its a feeling i am getting. The day i dont feel is the day i will stop.

once you stop feeling, its time for a break, or at least a few steps back. And that's what I'm doing with particular regard to Munches. The lustre has gone (for me) and I totally feel the same as you Earthy about feeling a bit 'lost' at them. Gone are the days when people do the 'oooo Dark's coming' & simply want to come up and meet you & have a natter, spend some time with me etc because they've read my posts...& i'm not sure whether that's because I've been here too long and done too many and have already met everyone who wants to meet me so to speak, or if once you are known, there's simply no place for you any more in the big scheme of things and the social side of all this evolves into simply seeing your own little group of friends ... or if (for me) I'm simply very crap at making conversation with people who I know absolutely nothing about, and they have no idea who I am either because I dontuse the chatrooms dunno
Aside from that, and going back to Lost's post, I very definately do still feel in the forum. Posts infuriate me, make me laugh, some make me cry with laughing, make me all concerned and mother-hen-like, cetain things really piss me off and others bore me stupid...but I feelit.
I think when it stops doing that, and I become completely indifferent, stop defending the site when people slag us off, stop mentoring newbies and pulling threads out my ass when its quiet and dont give a shit if it is, that's when I'll know I dont belong anymore. wink
I'm crap at taking compliments - particularly personal ones (ooo, you look nice type stuff) because I either think 'yeah right' or 'hmm, so, what you after then? confused' lol Its a bit of a self fulfilling prophecy really, because after a while, people stop paying the compliments and then that plays on the 'yeah right' doubts
and picking up on Louise's post... second-hand compliments are just the worst thing to me...you accept a compliment from someone and then find out that's just their nature and they're saying the same thing to several other people :? it becomes a fishing 'line'to see what you can catch with, not a compliment, if that makes sense dunno

I personally dont want to see joke threads - as has already been mentioned, it serves no purpose other than for people to come in and post lol that was funny haha lots of times dunno There's no 'discussion', no way of inviting the reader to participate other than to laugh and go away again :dunno:
That happens in so many threads already I dont think its really an applicable argument.
It is if, like me, you dont have any fondness for bollox threads - again, just my opinion.
I also dont want to see a joke-thread made into a sticky. Stickies are for 'important' stuff like advice - again just my opinion.
Poetry corner? :dunno:
Granted. I meant, imo wink
Sorry to pick on your thread Dark just had some points I wanted to pick up on. Seems from the poll results though that there is enough of a divide to think about a change in policy.

Not a problem to pick up points Tweeky, its good to discuss  I'm afraid it doesnt change my opinion on possible changes in policy though & wether we should have joke threads or a joke sticky, I voted for the 'absolutely not' option

Bit of post-count bump thread imo

At very best, I would suggest that if there really has to be a 'post your jokes in here' thread (rolleyes), it operate similar to the GFZ.
Stickied thread or GFZ type thread, either way what you will get is the same joke being repeated...and full of copy and pasted FW: Email Jokes from folk who have nowt else to say.
There have been some incredibly funny threads here in the past, that not only have people's sides hurting, but in which you could participate, giggle like girls and contribute more to the 'fun feel' of the forum... and this is pretty much summed up here:
For example - The Avatar Challenge Thread
There'd be a time when if this was bumped everyone would join in and it'd have people howling for weeks.
Now 1 user will post a new pic in it/bump it, they'll be a few posts full of "Ha ha that's really funny", then it just dies again.

And I agree. There are few people who want or have inclination to put 'the avatar challenge level of participation' into the Cafe anymore, but does that make a 'post a joke' thread ok?
you did ask! wink evil
and now I'm late for work!
...a right fit peice of lady flesh...

I should know better than to bite at your warped sense of humour by now Versace...but that one didnt go unnoticed wink

... its nothing to do with aversion to cock at all. Its to do with being attracted to women...
I know that might seem like a really obvious statement to most but I'm not a lesbian because I don't like cock, its an important distinction to make as far as I'm concerned. Its just a non-attraction if you see what I mean.
The other thing to consider that its then just an aversion to a phallus attached to a man.
It is fair to say that most lesbians I know and have known only use the plain unveined dildos, mainly one of the lesbian targeted silicone ones. This is because its not meant to replace or replicate a real cock, just to be of a suitable shape for the purpose for which it is intended - not withstanding the fact that they can look really pretty cool
I hope some of this makes sense - it is Friday and it is late wink

sorry to chop up your post Bubbles (lol) but these points particularly answer my questions, and along with Kiss's words of wisdom, makes perfect sense! thankyou! - one of the things I love about this forum, if you're willing to admit you cant get your head around something, there'll always be people who'll respond and give you the answers
(and Kiss, how could you not mention the diesel dykes :inlove:  , they know all the good truck stops  )

hope Dammy doesnt see this this morning, you'll make him all excited :quiver: rotflmao
oh I do hope this mood of general wanton horniness & mojo-finding lasts till tomorrow night
