So, Chat Ops ... are you over-whelmed with complaints about people abusing the chatrooms? Do you want mroe people to put in reports of such behaviour? How sick is the feeling in your tummy when you see my name in your inbox?
When I was a chat Op, I used to get a few complaints. They would be passed over to Admin/Mods as appropriate (unless I was able to deal with it myself), usually after to getting as much info as possible.
I would think that the Op's would prefer people to report such behaviour, as every incident that goes unreported just encourages others to act the same way.
And the only way to find out if I get a sick feeling in my stomach at the sight of your name in my inbox, is to be in my inbox

This happened to me a few weeks back. I think there is a thread in here somewhere.
Bilko had to go into the room and kick the "other" me out before I could get back in.
It`s worth asking around, there were probably people talking to you who thought you a bit rude for not answering back.
Thanks flower - I hadn't considered that possibility. It was just as I was able to get in other rooms I couldnt understand why that one wouldnt let me in

I've tried getting into the Mids room on server 3 all night.....the room isn't full (as it starts to load the room), but it just "whites out", after which I have to reset and wait five+ minutes to try again only to get the same thing!
I've tried EVERY other room on all 3 servers, but the Mids one won't let me in.

ok, i admit it . . . for some time now i have been claiming to be 38ish. previously it was 37ish. before that it was 36ish, or even 35ish. i was never intentionally misleading. just that the "naaaww . . . you can't be a day over 25 neil" thing got to be kind of addictive. i admit it went to my head. i thought i could handle it.
