As a hijacker sad I've only ever done it to amuse everyone. It's never been (intentionally) malicious, and I hope no one has ever thought that of me. There have been many a thread that I wanted to say something, but could construct an adquate reply. Usually someone will be able to post how I wanted, so now I wait and read the responses.
I have (despite appearances) cut the hijacking out a lot, mainly as I feel that I may go to far and go to the place I don't want to go - hijacking for the sake of it.

Crap at reading signals here too - have to rely on someone telling me they're interested. confused

That's just it in my case. I could flirt with person X, get on with them, but when it gets to the "well, what do we do now", and because I'm crap at this (and I certainly would not expect someone to be blunt - they shouldn't have to) Nothing ever happens....
God I need to see a shrink, or have an intense course in flirting......

Hi lovejoy68, as Varca has already said - any friend of the Dark one is a friend indeed! biggrin
I'd need a fecking Neon sign above someones head to read them
Now direct - even I can read them! lol

the other one is if they're stood behind me and do the gravel-voiced-dirty-talk (cockney accent/ gangsta speak works wonders) so its audible to no-one else and I can feel their breath on my skin :quiver:

I can't do gravel voice or cockney. That's me fucked then dunno
or not as the case may be :giggle:
A Welsh, Irish or Scottish lilt does it for me wink
lol
It might also have something to do with them enjoying the shock the recipient may feel.
I'm not sure why a person would enjoy it myself dunno

I think someone will have to buy shares in Midori or Suntori (Saké brewers)....otherwise it will be very expensive in the long term lol
Lets just go to a brewery and take an open mouthed swim....just realised that in 11 years i'll be 30

Does anybody have any advice on how to become less gullible?? Im soooo trusting its just silly and today im hurting again...
You would think after quite a few relationships, a failed marriage, four children and not exactly being a youngster i would have it all sussed out. Why do i believe everything thats said to me? Im worried that if i become all cynical and guarded then that wont be me. The real Suze will have disappeared.
Anybody any ideas on how to toughen up??
Suze x

It's a difficult balance to maintain. Despite appearances I can be a very cynical git, even though I'm gullible too. I suppose, it's just best to "stand back" and evaluate the situation at the time. Mind you, I should take my own advice.....

I have a huge stye (sp?) on my right eye.....
Typical lol

Rub a gold ring on it. It really works
:therethere:
Morning all wave
Morning sexy passionkiss
Milk works too.
louise xx
Never heard that one .... I used to suffer with stye's all the time as a kid and the gold ring never worked, just irritated me, someone told my mum to get my ears pierced and I've had very few since  although in the process found out that I'm allergic to gold
I'd advise just to bathe it with hot (as you can stand it) water and keep the eye area clean.
Cx
Thank you both biggrin
I did the water treatment as my Gold ring is white gold and I wasn't sure if it would work (plus it's at parents atm lol )
However, I was in the bathroom getting the water over it. Forgot to test the water first - yes, it was far too hot. Screams of "Son of a Flucking bitch!" could be heard. I try to get a towel, but in the process stub my toe in the bathroom (I've only been here for a week and I keep forgetting it's a small bathroom). Cue more swearing.
I finally sort out my eye - the swelling is better, although the skin is rather sore now from rubbing and scorching it.
I start to go down stairs, forgetting the steps aren't as high as the ones at my parents. I stumble down them and the part of the ceiling that meets the ceiling down stairs is slightly too low to let me go under it without ducking slightly. I bang my head - cue more swearing. mad
rolleyes If all this happened on the 13th, I could understand it ffs. lol

I used to be terrible at taking compliments to the point that it used to really unnerve me. Even now I tend to say something self depreciating in return. However, it wasn't until a member in the community when we talked about this subject said that not accepting a compliment could be taken by the giver as an insult - that what they said was false, that I realised that I needed to start accepting them.
I'm better at it now.....always room for improvement though lol

.. and you pulled me up about it tonight! redface
I never used to take compliments well but i have learnt to say thankyou and leave it at that.
Compliments in the chatroom are a bit iffy. hit n miss, I suppose. On the one hand it's nice that someone has made the effort to tell you that you look nice on cam, yet on the other hand you know for a fact they've just said the exact same thing to a dozen other women so it's hardly meaningful is it?
Personal compliments make me embarrassed but i do try hard to say thankyou and then change the subject. If someone keeps complimenting me, it kind of annoys me actually. It starts off embarrassing and then I get a bit peed off - "ok, ok, you fancy me, great, shut up now".
sorry, am just being honest. confused
And you wouldn't be you if you wasn't....kiss

Love ya,
Suze xx

thanks suze it was more the bigger picture i meant than with the people that are good and close friends and special to me, by posting this thread i have upset one very special one in particular by not wording things properly
Earthy xx
Surely they will realise it wasnt meant in that way sad
Hopefully they won't. This thread for me is a reminder that our prioties are always changing. And that it's best to step back and think about it so that you don't compromise your own values.
kiss Earthy
I second guess myself all the time Earthy. I always think "Do I belong here? Is all this right for me?"
I gave those feelings a name.....never give something like that a name (some will know it too lol )....it starts to take over.
When I joined nearly two years ago I didn't know what to expect, or what I wanted from it all. To a degree I still don't. When I lost the internet a while back, all I kept saying to myself was "I can't wait to get back on line, I need to get back on line." But, when I came back the feeling I got from being here wasn't the same. Not necessarily the site, but me. I've evolved. I've had to. I've had to grow up, re evaluate things that I really didn't think I could handle. But I have. It's the only way I could carry on.
The amount of munches.....I have noticed that too. I went to a staggering amount last year, and I was so buzzed up with the thought of meeting so many people. I'm not saying I don't get it anymore, but it's getting weaker. I did tell myself that I really should only go to a couple this year and actually do something about actually swinging, but in typical Dlep/Dollop/Delp etc fashion I haven't kept to it rolleyes In my case I may have spent so much time learning about swingin, that I haven't spent enough time actually doing....
Earthy, I don't know what to suggest (I don't know what to do in my situation), but I'm sure things will be better for you kiss

I was rarely smacked as a child. My brother and I didn't dare do anything seriously naughty as the "threat" (I can't think of a better word) was deterent enough.
I honestly don't know if smacking children is a valid way of disciplining children. In some cases, it just makes the child resentful and agressive to others.
I'm no child psychologist, but I don't think it's something that should happen in modern times.....
