At the Midlands Munch in Birmingham I was introduced to a couple of ladies and was rather in awe of them redface

. Later on went up to them again and asked for their names (again). One of them said "For ****'s sake Dlep, you asked me that about half an hour ago!"
I was that nervous I'd forgotten......just for a change...:shock:

I haven't had that experience Varca (or atleast I don't think so). I may have looked at a profile a few times, usually because I couldn't remember something about them (eg the area in which they live). It stops me feeling like a pillock (as I have a terrible memory sad

)and asking them something in chat etc that they have already answered. lol

But as shy as I am I wouldn't keep looking at a profile. I'd either decide to communicate with them or leave them alone.... lol

I have a tendancy (not so much now) to hate odd numbers.....my hifi shows the volume by number as does my car cd player. The car one is okay as it goes up in even numbers, but my hifi in the flat doesn't....I have to have the sound set on an even number, otherwise It drives me nuts....:shock:

But seriously Sassy, I was terrified for the first ten minutes....after that I felt a lot better.....mainly due to all the attention I and the other newcomers got (not all like that I hasten to add), people make it a high priority to make newcomers as welcome as possible. I was made me very welcome and I was determined I was going to see as many people as I possible could.
However, be warned.....Munches are addictive. My first one was in January this year and so far I've been to 15, and still have 2 left to go to this year. And I'm not even a Munch Whore.....more like an apprentice really lol
