The idea behind the system is so you can browse the photos that you want to.
The 1-10 scale isn't a rating, it's the quality of the image not the content. The data will be used to display the clearer better quality of images first, with the blurry ones at the back of the search query after we get the new search implemented.
The categories that the images are tagged into will be used to filter the images that you want to see e.g. if you are a couple looking for another couple, living 30 miles away, and not wanting to see cock shots, the new search will be able to meet that criteria. Currently the gallery has nil functionality or use for any thing other than looking at pictures, Russian Roulette style.
Currently there are nearly half a million photos that need to be categorised before any new relevant search can be implemented. We are actively encouraging users to tag their own photos that are uploaded and there will be an announcement on your homepage in the next few days.
Swinging Heaven is looking for ways to make all areas of the site more relevant and usable for the members. Our goal is continual improvement and listening to our member feedback. In the recent site surveys, a relevant image search was one of the top three points that our member base was asking for. As you are aware there are a large number of site improvements being worked on at the moment that will be rolled out over the next 18 months.
Sorry, they'll be back in just a few minutes.
We've had a couple of reports in from Demon ISP users regarding difficulty using the chat room during the day - early morning and evening access are said to be fine.
I just wondered whether there were any other Demon users with a similar story?
Thanks.
Great news, thanks for the post. I just hope the connection will be stable enough.

On behalf of the team, our sincere apologies for the problem. We can confirm that the issues were resolved.
We've removed this from the terms
If you cannot see any text in the chat room nor any labels on the buttons, this indicates you don't have the latest Flash installed:

Our sincerest apologies, our technical departments are working on a remedy, double speed.

The changes that were made were in the best of intentions to improve the chat room. It hasn't gone to plan which we have to hold our hands up to and apologise for.
We will be rolling back to the four server system by the end of the working day. Regrettably, this does mean the return of the need to logout before exiting the chat room and if you are disconnected, you'll need to wait five minutes.
Regards, Admin.
It's an Elliot question but unfortunately he's on holiday at the moment so I'll try.
I know when you enter the chat room, there's a record that's created in a chatroom table. This record keeps a track on who is connected so you can only connect once. If we didn't keep this record and you connected more than once, the chat room becomes very unstable. If you log out, the record is deleted from the table. If you don't log out or you are disconnected, the chat room will detect the record that you are still logged in and consequently when you try again you'll see the frustrating message to wait five minutes and try again. The reason it's five minutes is because the record will self expire after this time, enabling you to join again.
Could it be less time? I don't think so otherwise Elliot would have shortened it by now.
Is there a plan in the pipeline to avoid this in the future? Yes there is. You may remember some months ago when a new version of the chat was piloted and you didn't have to log out any more - this is because a different system was being used. We had to ditch the new version because people were getting locked in all over the place. At the time, due to the many complaints, we wanted to revert everything back to how it was until the chat room calmed down again. We could try again, but for some of us dealing with the moans, the very thought of going there again makes us shake uncontrollably.
Thanks for your reports - we're just working on it.
Try it now and let us know how you get on, you may have to refresh the page first though.
There was a problem with one of the admin rooms, the file had to be reconfigured and all of the chatservers restarted to enable the fix, it should all be working fine now.
Will be back shortly eta 10 to 15 minutes.
Its not a site problem, its most likely a browser setting issue.
That happened for me also but only in Firefox, try it again, it should be now resolved.
Sorry, yes there's a backlog. I've just ran through 37, it should be all up to date now
There's been a little shift around, they're now linked at the top of the top ^^ last tab on the right.

We would like to express our sincere condolences on the recent passing of Mr Coffeecuddles, a popular user in the chat room.
Our thoughts are with the Coffeecuddles family.
One reboot and it's fixed. I know it's frustrating, you are right to moan, but we don't have a choice I'm afraid.
The chat servers will be going offline for just a second in a moment, we're trying to nip this in the bud.
One of the room IDs was out which was causing the disconnections. It's now been corrected, so in order for it to take effect your end, you would need to log out and then back in.
Thanks for your reports so far and apologies for the inconvenience.
I'm keeping up, just
