Most commonly this message is returned if a member has chosen to leave the site and has cancelled their account. Specifically twos_company, this was the case with the most recent Shrep comment that your account has received.
If there's any other examples that you'd like me to look at, please feel free to drop me a PM with the username you are trying to find the profile for.
Server 1 is operating as it should. I noticed your name in the Beach Bar. If this isn't an active session that you have open, let me know and I'll remove you from the room so you can then reconnect.

Thanks hun, I get what you're saying and I have done this before but when you're in a full room and about 20 or so in that room are breaking the rules? Don't get me wrong, I'm not backward in coming forward and will tell them, but once they see one get away with it, they all start ... I'm supposed to report 20 or so users?? It's easier to just leave the room but I shouldnt have to!! Plus if you leave the room loads of them will follow you which is what happened this morning. It happens all the time.
We only opened another profile so that we could both be in chat at the same time but of course it doesnt happen so much when my hubby is there ... if it carries on like this we wont use chat anymore and to be honest we only use this site as it is really social and enjoy the chatroom and the forum. We tend to use another site for meets. I'm not paying £100 a year for the use of a forum.
Is it really so difficult to get more ops? They're volunteers arent they?

Thanks for your reply.
If there are multiple users breaking the rules, please do your best to report the main trouble makers and mention that others in the room were causing problems as well. When we're dealing with the report, we'll need to read through the logs so we'll be able to identify any others that you've missed.
We all appreciate you upgrading your account and I understand why you've upgraded two accounts which we touched on in this thread.
To answer your question, it is quite difficult to recruit Chat Room Operators. They are volunteers, but as a user representing the site and being in a position of authority, we have to be very thorough.
Thanks for your post. I'll emphasise on your point that the OPs do a fine job.
I understand that it can be frustrating when users play up but the best way to combat this is by letting us know what happened. If we don't know about the problem, we won't be able to help.
During times when their are no OPs around to help and there is a problem with a user breaking the site rules, please follow the 'Report Profile' prompt on the offender's profile. Please write a summary on what happened, remembering to include what chat room you were in, and then Submit the report.
It takes less than a minute to fill in a report which will then prevent this problem happening again in the future to you, or any other users.
Thanks,
Admin.

Mods...
Would rooms of any description be allowed on this site?
Where is Davey when ya need him? lol

At this moment in time we don't close Fantasy rooms as we've seen that these rooms are based on pure fantasy with all participants consenting. We do monitor the chat room logs. Should there come a point when fantasy starts turning into reality, and therefore discussions become illegal, not only would the offenders be banned and reported, we'd probably propose to stop any future rooms even if they are on a fantasy level.

I run a search which returns results, and I Save it with a 72hr alert period. The search appears in my Saved Searches list, but the only option I have is Delete. I can't run a saved search from the list, and cannot modify a Saved Search. The table is filled with N/A's which never change, even months after the search was saved.

Hi,
Could you drop me a PM with the details on the search that you've saved? Mine are running as normal.
Thanks,
Admin.
On the current chat room it is unfortunately not possible for a username to exist more than once in the same room. Consequently, I'm sorry this is why, for example as a couple, if you were using different machines, you couldn't both, separately, interact in the same room on the same account.
Hopefully through the newsletters you should be aware that we're developing a new chat room which will be soon be available to use. Once we know that the chat room is stable, we can take on board suggestions and improvements that members want to see happen. We can consider including something for this scenario for example.
It's healthy to discuss what our members want on the site so thanks for bringing this up.
I'm sorry but the chat room server is just restarting, it will be back within just a couple of minutes.
Thanks for bringing this to our attention - we'll be restarting the server this morning which will resolve this issue.

ok , a slightly paranoid question,i have 20 leave rep requests, are these just because they are on my friends list,or have they actually requested i leave rep?
i dont want to hurt anyones feelings by not leaving a rep if they have specifically asked.

There's no direct way to request rep. The system will automatically prompt you to leave rep with another user with Shrep enabled if you've met the criteria:
Vouch - if you are mutual friends (via your profile).
Site - if you've sent more than two messages to each other (via the mailbox).
Meet - if you've attended a meet together (created via Shrep).

Why shouldn't it be a serious question, it is actually a good is it a case of no dissention among the ranks?
Although having looked at the screen shots on the pdf, there are a couple of shots that show negative feedback has been left, but if you look at the numbers section, which shows how much negative feedback has been left, the numbers are zero.
So seeing as single men can't read, does this mean that negative feedback will not apply to them, seeing as they won't be reading the comments?

As posted, I hoped it wasn't a serious question. There has to be some sense that we wouldn't build a system which breaches our own policies and hopefully now this has been made clear.
The screenshots in the PDF file are simply graphical representations created before the system was designed, they were not taken from a live system so the inconsistency that you've noted was an overlook. If any user, whether male, female or couple, has Shrep enabled and they receive a negative feedback, the negative feedback will be displayed on the Shrep information.

Was semi-serious... its the one part of the system which is the most open to abuse and cause the most problems for anyone who uses it... have you ever tried to get neg feedback erased on ebay... you get an item delivered late or the wrong size or faulty item mention it and hey presto, no matter how quickly you sent the payment they give you bad feedback in return. As the expression's go, mud sticks, no smoke without fit blah blah blah

I think we can all agree that no system can be perfect, but it's pretty much as close as we can make it.

Reading the pdf, I saw the following 'benefit' in the meet section:
"It is a consensual system that is used only by two members mutually using the Shrep system."
So if I arrange a threesome, do I have to toss a coin to decide who can leave me feedback?
If I am involved in a bukkake session, and there are 5 blokes, does the woman/man at the centre of all this have to arrange 5 different uses of the Shrep system? Or maybe he/she could make it some kind of competition? "Whoever cums first can leave me feedback!"

I'm sorry that particular line needs to be revised - later into the development, we enabled a meeting to be created between multiple users, so it is not limited to just two, those who attended can all leave feedback for one another. Providing you have Shrep enabled, you can enter the Create Meeting section to see for yourself that adding more than one user is possible.

If you leave negative feedback is that not technically naming and shaming and so therefor against site rules
bolt

I hope this isn't a serious question, however I'll still give an answer. Using Shrep does not come under any scrutiny of the rules, it will be the only section of the site where users can (finally some may say) provide feedback of a meeting.
I think the photo that you were trying to set from your Profile Gallery wasn't available as it was pending authorisation, so you were then uploading it direct from your computer which wasn't rotated - try your Forum Settings now you should see the photo.
You'd need to have Abode Reader installed on your machine to open a PDF file, like what the SHrep document is. Just download and install from the following link (the software is free):
We sincerely apologise for any problems that you experienced in the chat room during the Easter break, regrettably chat server 3 was at fault which our admins were working to rectify as soon as possible.
We can confirm that the server is now back in full operation.
Once again, our sincere apologies.
Our sincere apologies, we've managed to get server 2 back online and we're just working on 3.
This thread has strayed, initially it was raised over concern from a step-daughter room that was created in the chat room. It has been made clear that these rooms aren't permitted to be opened, the creator of such room will be penalised and the logs extensively checked for any users who've breached the site conditions.
Any moral discussions on the subject may be better suited in the current affairs forum category as our stance on this specifically in the chat room has been clarified.
Could those who are still experiencing problems please to submit Support Ticket and submit the details of the system that you are using (operating system, browser name/version etc.) so we can gather more information.

Thanks, Admin.
Our apologies for the inconvenience, we can confirm that the servers are fully operational

I'm having trouble changing my Avatar rolleyes
If someone could reconfirm file size, file type and file dimensions before I assume it's the site please?
I was under the impression that a 120x120 jpeg at about 15k would be okay, but the site is having none of it

Hi,
The maximum avatar resolution size is 110x110 - 2MB file size.
We'll adjust the error response and/or add the restriction to the information box.
Update:
Two users have now resolved this problem. It may be worth mentioning that both were using Internet Explorer 6.
The first solution was to install an alternative browser, , and the second was a system roll back.
Most commonly this problem crops up when the chat room can't read which member from the site you are, no username is known, and the authorisation fails.
Within the past 24 hours I've received 4 tickets from members with the same problem, including the ticket from you eddy17 (thanks). We've not changed any thing from our end, so we need to work out the common relation on your end, it could be an automatic software update that has now triggered this.
What ISP (Internet Service Provider) are you using and do you have any security programs installed, such as McAfee, Zone Alarm, PC Guard/Kaspersky etc?
Thanks in advance for your help.

when a room has ..lets say 75 folk in it..how can it rise to 76 . 77 ..etc without going below the 70 mark first?

I've found that this happens with the more popular main rooms i.e. Beach and Pool when moving servers.
When moving, I don't believe the code takes into account the reserved overflow spaces, so whilst the chatter level is in the 70s, you'll find people are still able to connect, unless it is maxed out at 80. However if you are already connected on that server and you are manually trying to join, the system won't allow you to do so unless it drops below 70.
