This is very close to my heart. I hope you all don't mind me posting it here for anyone else who wants to participate. We lost twin boys 13 years ago, but today on infant loss day I am lucky enough to be celebrating the birthdays of my 13 year old daughter and 6 year old son.
Join the international Wave of Light October 15th is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day across the world. We would like to invite you to take part in the global 'Wave of Light'. Simply light a candle at 7pm and leave it burning for at least 1 hour to join us in remembering all babies that have died during pregnancy, at, during or after birth.
This can be done individually or in a group, at home or in a communal space. Wherever you do this, you will be joining a global wave of light in memory of all the babies who lit up our lives for such a short time.
Love to all of you who are living with the loss of a child :rose:

Where on earth is all the feedback for the sites members?
On every other site we've belonged to, there is a facility to leave feedback for members you've met and vice versa. A sure way of establishing whether the couple or single guy etc. are genuine and who they say they are!
We can't believe a site of this size doesn't have a facility for this. We'd be interested to hear what other members have to say on this subject.

As by now you no doubt know the answer.
I for one believe it works, but the powers to be do not agree. A feedback system similar to that on E Bay would work just fine. In other words you CANNOT leave any negative feedback, for the reasons that have been mentioned here.
But if a member has a couple of positives you know they are a trusted person, for in this case meeting.
I think people have not understood that concept and they feel people will slag others off for any reason. That is not the idea of feedback. It is to give people ( if they so wish ), a chance to know that person does turn up. For the ammount of timewasters out there, and most have dealt with them at one time or another,this idea does weed them out.
Still no matter what I say, it just ain't gonna happen on this site, which I for one feel is a shame....My opinion of course. :lol:
Sorry Kent's I have to disagree here. On Ebay you are leaving a rating for a "thing" and how fast you got that "thing" and whether the communication was satisfactory if you had a question about that "thing"
Here at SH we are people not things. I don't want someone who hardly knows me to presume they know enough about me to give a rating to someone else as to whether I'm any good or not
