As Happy as a Sandboy:

I wrote what I wrote in about 45 seconds I guess odd was the wrong word - I guess I meant in editing out all but the most perfect specimens they perhaps make swinging a sterile,air-brushed experience - I bet your parties are far better of course - I'd love to come to one but I'm afraid I'm a single guy - and I understand why you don't want those there,of course,it unbalences the fun having 40 excess single men trying to get in on the action.

Good points about passing on all this to kids - but,true,nothing to get overbearing about with little ones.
I recently walked past a church - a modern one not a historic building.
Youths were writing on the brickwork with marker pens.
I said nothing.
Why? - Because there were about 10 boys and 5 girls,all aged about 15/16 thats why!When they're in a pack like that,its hopeless.

I know I'm genuine,sincere,caring,have depth,soul,whatever you would call it.I'm a good conversationalist,a good listener,non-judgemental,I love having fun,to laugh,love to dance,love to party,love quiet walks in the countryside,love music,love art,love movies,I respect women,care about them,love sharing affection and sexual pleasure with them,I'm loyal,appreciative,giving,love Shredded Wheat,Jaffa Cakes - WHATEVER..I'm a largeish built single guy over 40 who doesn't look like Colin Firth so all that fancy dancy stuff counts for zip in the big bad woman I've ever loved either left me for someone else or left me to be alone - that one's THE most flattering - to be worth less than nothing.
But now I'm putting on my bravest face and on here and I want to go to places and meet people and perhaps play with them - the concept that it ISN'T bound by any expectation other than friendship and mutual pleasure shared with whoever,wherever,whenever it feels good to all concerned.I've already seen a beautiful glimpse of how this works - and I've seen what I've denied in myself,my lapses into self pity,my of all I've seen people here who have bourne far worse than I in terms of loss and disappointment - but the sexy so-and-so's are on this Forum,eager to live,laugh and love - and so we shall,yes,we shall!

I think when you get rid of the silly misconceptions and media hype there are far more people than many realise who have taken part in what might be termed swinging.
Its not unusual to meet people through computer dating and the like - this is just a more freer,sexually open version of that.

OMG - I was verified on the very first page of this thread a week last Friday - the lovely MQ backed me up for it and Warwick gave me my verification - but I neglected to put it on my doo-dah - as careless of me as the most careless whisper by a careless whisperer!
