Sorry Alex, hope you didn't think I was having a go at you...but can't see the face argument re ladies...if guys were to do it...they will still get panned... my argument is consistency...not a personal attack against anyone.
My view is feel free to post what you are comfortable with...its the double standards that pervade that annoy me.
Love Stu of the "Fran and..variety"
Hmmmm...bit of a prob here for me...I agree cock pics aren't either nice, acceptable, or I believe even legal (should they be erect) in the god forsaken legal world of this country. Yet we are happy to accept tits out no problem.
Ok, so it's not illegal and I ain't gonna complain if some lady wants to display her wares (lol), but it seems more than hypocritical that the guys get panned for it (legality wise or not) yet the ladies are openly encourgaed by the users of the forum.
I said it before in kit-Kats thread re: "freedom"...where's the consistency? I know for definite that complaints of cock shot won't stop cos a guy posts a flaccid member, so lets have an all or nothing policy re the avatars and stop having a go at guys who want to display their wares...
(As to the legality side re an erect cock..mods go trawl the ads and remove every one that has a pic of an erect penis....hmmm..not enough hours in the day me feels....or is that fact that no-one reports them an indication that they are really not that unwanted in the forum either..who knows...but go full on one way or the other..please!! )
Stu of the "Fran and variety"
PS from a leg, not a tit man!!!
I would say in some instances that may be the case, but in many it is not...come in, take part...your contributions will be welcomed by many and you will soon feel part of a community.
That's the point...it is a community..and like any community the more you are prepared to put in, the more you will "feel" part of it (oohhh eerrr missus!!).
It is a welcoming place, you are not judged on how long you have been here, but on how you conduct and display yourself. Have fun, check out the range of threads, from serious..to bizarre...and above all enjoy.
Its like attending a party and you appear to be the only one who doesn't know anyone else...well, have a drink or two...settle down and say hi, butt in a conversation or two (technically known as hijacking a thread..lol) and you'll soon find an invite upstairs..lol

Remember our conversation OOTD...whether its on here, at a station, in shops, cinemas or wherever, you are gonna find rude people, people who would rather hurt and offend you or try to score points at your expense.
Don't lose sleep over them, they are the losers in any walk of life, to rise to their inhumanity demeans you. Remember live and let live, be you, say what you think (as long as you don't intend to/or hurt anyone with it) and enjoy the great company that can be found in all walks of life..even swinging!!! lol!!
It is clear you have enough friends on here not to have sleepless nights over the "few"...but know where you are coming from, understand your post...just doubt it will make the blind bit of difference to the ones you refer to.
Stay sane!!

Artificer..nicely summarised!
And who'd thought such a small protest could have challenged and changed K-Mart policy in such a major way! Way to go Michael Moore!
Slim, it is a documentary where Michael Moore sets out to find why the US loves its gun culture and the death and destruction it brings. It will make you laugh, cry, feel desperation, make you angry and sad, but also give you a bit of hope too. Bloody hell sounds impossible, but it ain't. First documentary film to be acepted at Cannes film festival in 46 years and won Oscar for Best Documentary feature 2003.
Also will ensure you will never watch another Charlton Heston movie again!

"Another thing, your signature has had me confused for, hmmm 5 minutes. I thought "I know that lyric" - East Of Eden by Big Country? Bloody hope so or I'm going to look really stupid next time I'm chatting to Bruce Watson (Ha, name dropper)!! "
Stu will be so impressed when he sees you knew the lyric. He has to be be the biggest BC nut...followed them since day 1. Looks like we are off to Dublin in April to see the Casbah Club, I'll tell him to say hi to Brucey for ya.
As to the band...my drum kit is set up and the bed has clean sheets!! lol

Ps. Stu says im not allowed to join a band anyway cos last time I did I shagged the lot of them and had to leave lol!!!!!!!
Third Option: be somewhere where if one or both of you change your minds you can either get home or somewhere safe, especially if you don't live in the same area. Having to be stuck in a hotel in a mutually agreed place where neither of you hail from could turn into an nightmare if things don't work out.
Just re-watched Bowling for Columbine again... tears of Laughter?(or is it just tears of desperation at US incompetence) and tears of Sadness at the heartbreak shown, but also tears of Joy at a small but not insignificant victory!
If you have never seen it...see it..its a rollercoaster of emotion and we just voted it top of our top ten. ( see mood does alter the list ..lol)
This is one movie that it is easy to miss off a list, but so hard to forget!
Fran & Stu
