Well, I'd be sensible enough to get hold of a Warrior AFV to go wandering round the countryside in, instead of a car !
Then, with the fellow survivors in my little band, I'd get a convey of trucks filled with food / drink /diesel load up onto a North Sea ferry and sail to Scapa Flow or somewhere like that. (Ferry has all the life support systems to keep you going for a year or two till you get established).

What somebody should do is dig round in the archives for 1986 and dig out the promises of benifits to the comsumer that Maggie made claim to as the reason to sell off British Gas. And see if they have come true..............maybe if they haven't we can get "lawyers for you" to sue her for mis-representation !!!

Thanks so much missy, means a lot and yeah i guess i have bared my soul rather a lot and i hope thats ok. I honestly am overwhelmed with the support ive received on here (i had no support whatsoever from my own parents, they havent been to see me and they didnt come to the funeral).
The people on here are amazing and although i obviously wont be up to going to munches and socials for x amount on time... i feel at home here and i feel kinda loved.
Thanks to everyone for your help... ive been in touch with Cruse and ive got a 6 week wait for a visit with a counsellor and without the support on here, well i dont like to think where i would be now!!

Recent "blind" tests showed some of the cheaper brands taste better than the really expensive stuff, don't know where you'd search for those results tho.
Also, not only do you have to find the right drink and the right people to drink it with, you also have to find the right place to drink it. For instance, four people naked people sharing a bottle of Champagne on the swingers beach in Cap D'agde is better than breaking it open in a portacabin on a building site......Fact !!!

What about in or around trains? Some of the small steam lines will have very few vistors this time of year, so you might get a carriage to yourself, or sweet talk the driver into allowing Mrs Belle up into the cab.
We have many pics of Shel around or on old industrial sites (perk of the job) such as climbing up marine diesel engines. Got a good one of her nearly naked with an old oil can, lubing up a huge old engine, (No, not me).
Maybe a small aircraft mueseum, Mrs Belle drapped round a cockpit?

Totally agree with the below, being brought up in a pub, beer was always available. Parents certainly didn't mind me having the stuff from very early age. But it held no mystery for me, so never went at it big time. Had a few big sessions when I first started work, but soon realised that I was losing the next day thro hangovers !!!
Think if your parents show an example and drink responsably when your young and let you have a moderate amount without making a big deal of it, then it is a good thing.

Being the mom to a 21 year old from an age of 12 I have always let him have a bottle of beer with a meal at weekends or if we were watching a film on a friday or saturday night.
Recently he joined the army and passed out 2 months ago, but is still doing exams every week and he's told me out of 12 people only himself and one other person stays in in the evenings and studies for the exams, while everyone else goes out on the piss.
Also turns out the other lads parents also let him drink from an early age and both of them cant really see the point of getting pissed every night, and wasting their money.

There is a place in Blackpool called Blackpool Fun House. Its normally a standard B&B but once a month the owners (who are swingers themselves) have a Swingers weekend. Get about 10 couples and 2 or 3 single guys, who have to be known and approved by the owners.
Place is really nice, owners are great, smoking only allowed in designated bedrooms or outside.
