I have a huge list of bands I love, but this part of Marc Almonds career remains very very special to me.
A whole slew of others would include, well, Soft Cell and Marc solo, of course, Siouxsie and the Banshees, The Cure, The Cramps, The Buzzcocks, Crass, Gary Numan, The Fatima Mansions, Alien Sex Fiend, The Smiths (but not Morrissey solo), The Jam (but definitely not Paul Weller solo), The Specials as well as anything Terry Hall was in, and Tricky.
And Bjork.
And Nick Cave.
And Clint Ruin.

Well, I do, but I'll only end up going on and on about differnt hiarstyles I love and getting carried away, so I'll step away from the conversation...
I don't have a preference. I have been out with smaller and larger men and women, and find all shapes and sizes attractive. I think I am attracted to faces and personalities rather than particular body types, though there are definitely some people whom I look at and go, 'wow', but those people don't fit a certain type - there's just something I find in them which attracts me.
I'm crap at fetishes so couldn't do a BBW fetish, though I fancy several larger people as well as smaller ones. Size doesn't really seem to be a factor. I guess I'm just happy to get laid ;)
If you take me as 'gothic-punk' I am sure it is nowhere nea original.
My other main name i use on all forums and stuff is only me, though - and a google sarch has just proved it - and has also proved what ageek I am - posts about Judge Dredd and RPG's... I would state my name but fear you'd all laugh...

I can easily free up space if I need to by deleting all the useless U2 albums I put on there to see if I could ever grow to tolerate thier stuff. I keep it all on as I have plently of space left, and have a vague feeling I should at least admire them, but every time one of thier tracks comes on, I have to press 'skip.'
I went for a Sony AW3000, because it was purple. I love it to bits - I have about 2,500 songs on there and it's still only about a quarter full. Plus, it is purple.
Did I mention the purpleness?
It depends on what you want - just music and lots of it? Then anything will be fine. Remember, if you get one of the cheap 1GB thingys, that's still about 30 albums of songs and you can delete and add to your hearts content. I wanted to put everything i own on one small machine that I could shove on 'random' - any machine with a hard drive over 5GB is more than enough for most people for this purpose. If you are a real audiophile, then get an analogue record deck and play stuff on vinyl instead :>

I personally only wink people when I feel it would be funny - for example, if I am chatting with someone who has stated they never reply to winks... I wouldn't send one out of the blue, though.
Wineman - how many forums are you familiar with? The less relevent and more superfluous the topic, the more replies - this goes for all forums whether they are about music, comics, sex or dinosaurs eating cowboys (those forums being a particular favourite of mine);)
I always think I am going to hate the hour less in bed, but I never notice it by Monday. I used to hate that the clubs would close at 1 instead of 2 on this night, though - do they still do that?
Bristol.. all I know is that Tricky comes from there, and I love Tricky, so all Bristol people are highly exotic and exciting to me.
I wouldn't ever want to go there though as it is probably like Barnsley in that all my images of it would be shattered as soon as I got off the train and discovered it is exactly like where I live but with a different accent...
I've watched both - heroin addiction is no joke at all and not to be taken lightly. Neither is alcoholism. This discussion is getting too depressing to continue with now :/
Heroin is an insiduous and nasty drug that ruins the life of almost everyone who touches it. Alcohol can ruin your life if you get addicted to it, but it's a lot easier to get addicted to heroin and even trying it once to see what it is like is a really stupid idea, in my opinion.
But alcohol has, without a doubt, cuased far more trouble than heroin - for the simple reason that it is a lot more accessable and almost everyone over 18 has tried it and been intoxicated by it. There are more alcoholics than heroin addicts, and alcoholism is a really horrible disease, too, and every bit as lethal. It's just that it is possible to enjoy alcohol in moderation - not so with heroin.

Have not read the rest of the thread yet and am only replying to the initial two questions - and both from a non-swinging perspective.

Yes, but it is hard work.

Absolutely not. Theere are two difficult things about shagging strangers - well, three, really.
1 - Finding strangers willing to shag you.
2 - Feeling comfortable enough with them to make the shag memorable or fun.
3 - Am I going to suffer from guilt afterwards - have I lied at all, or done any cojoling or made any false promises?
All of those are easy to get over within about, ooh, 15 seconds of saying goodbye. That may sound cold, but there it is. For what it is worth, I have never promised anything other than a one night stand on any one night stand. But then I like people and don't like to fuck people around, and never sleep with anyone without first making sure that they are sober enough and informed enough about what I am like (ie, unreliable and shallow with a million hang-ups, but fun and cool as fuck ;> )

Boinking strangers is easy enough, so long as you can live with yourself afterwards - and even when totally open and honest you still end up inadvertantly hurting the occasional person which always makes me feel really bad.
But boinking friends - I have done this and although it can work, most often it is not the best idea in the world. It only works if all parties involved are perfectly happy and comfortable with what is going on. It absolutely does not work if there is any inbalance in the 'how much i desire thee' area. I had... um... about four female people I was shagging on a semi regualar basis - and they all of them knew exactly what was going on because I had been very careful to be upfront and open and honest about it all... it still ended up with one of them virtually stalking me, two of them falling out over me and the other taking everything in her stride - but then, she was the only one who really knew me well and accepted me the way I am - and I her. We are still in regular (non-sexual) contact now and play our dramas out to each other all the time. But mostly, as soon as sex gets involved, I've always found that friendships, though they can and do still continue, change in many ways.
Dunno how it is on the swinging scene as I'm not an active player in the swinging scene at this point - but I'd imagine things are often very similar. I would think twice about shagging someone was really getting along with fantastically. lest I lost thier friendship. (Then I'd probably shag them anyway...)
Depends what you are looking for in a website - porn? sexual encounters? earnest discussion of the politics of bisexuality? Sites exist for all of these and if you look I am sure you can find exactly what you are looking for.
For the encounters I'd stick around here - plenty of offers all the time if you actively look (and a few even if you don't). For pictures of willies here is also a good bet.
