Firstly I’d like to apologise for my absence over the last couple of months, a number of things cropped up at the same time, I dealt with one, then had problems with an old back operation, which now needs more surgery, this isn’t too bad, as I’ve been there before. But I also discovered that I had a Malignant Melanoma.
This has resulted in a number of operations, the next due on the 31st of this month, so to put it bluntly, I’ve been feeling a little sorry for myself, and didn’t want to come on here and bring everyone else down.
Thank you to those of you who have enquired of my whereabouts, and thank you Sarge for allowing me to be AWOL, I know I should have got a docket first. Thank you Sarah for putting up with me at the Notts Munch, I wasn’t at my best.
I hope you will allow me back in the fold, and I look forward to chatting to you all over the coming months.

Have you told your gf/wife that this is something that you are interested in? Perhaps if you mention it as something that you have been thinking about and leave it at that for a while, it will give her chance to think about it.
