I know what the following does and if you've used the Avatar Sizer program you've used it!

Does that make me a real geek?
How about:
I love a good roasting...
Accessing the internet via a mobile phone is not cheap! Is this something you really want to do?

Honest there is one see
OK who's going to be the first to do a "road test" and can I have your number
Vicky,
Can you put my name down as well.
If I remember correctly, he substantially rewrote it when turning it into MS-DOS (that's probabbly why it isn't as good ;) )
Honest, I couldn't make it up if I tried. See here:
Erm there are over 500 viruses, trojans and worms for the MAC and if you have the Java runtime engine and few hundred thousand more.
We practice safe sex, lets practice safe computing...
Oh, nearly forgot...
If you are going to be playing online games then check the latency as well. Most of the "big boys" have extremely poor latency. I believe Eclipse is one of the best.
Zen offers no contention or bandwith limits on any of its packages and its latency is up there with Eclipse.
A few things to think about...Check the small print for bandwith limits, some ISP can be a bit "Jobs worth" if you go over their limitsCheck contention - if you have 50 to 1 contention on a busy exchange with the other 49 "contended users" downloading films all day and night, your actual connection will be slower than dialup  Check Customer Service - most seriously suck. A good indictation is how they deal with your initial enquiries about Broadband (do they actually phone you back when they say they will?)There's no such thing as a "free lunch". Its cheap for a reason - find out speed can you actually get at your house? It may be that the distance from the exchange is such that you can only get 512/256 or you may be lucky and can get 2mb/256For more information on what their customers think about their ISPs visit the - extremely informative.
The three who are consistantly rated the best by their customers are: Zen ( ), Nildram ( ) and Eclipse ( ).
I'm just about to pick up a Sony A497XP. Its a bit above your price range but is the Mutts Nutts.
Where I live now we have:
Marra - Friend/mateYam - Home - as in "Ower Yam" - our homewe have a road named Finkle StreetWhere my parents came from you also have:Nettie - toilet - as in "wores the nettie hinnie?" (please can you direct me to the wash room)Hinnie - see Marra aboveCannie - pretty as in Cannie Lass, has other meanings depending on the phrasing
I'll see if I can remember some more.
Anyone got one of these:
If so can I have a go controlling it
Try the new Parry Hotter book. Its quite good (some very amusing bits) but only if you've read the other 5.
Or anything by Clancy
Seems to be a Power surge according to the BBC.
Well done everyone involved in getting this up and running. Most impressed.
I'll probably have to wait until October to get mine unless some kind soul can blag one for me...
Great news!!
In another life I used to wear a bow tie every evening, well at least 4 evenings out of 7.
The trick to learning is tie it round your thigh (you'll probably have to lengthen it 1st). Do this until you can do it with your eyes closed. Then try it round your neck (remembering to shorten it first).
The other tick is it must be exactly the right length or it won't tie properly.
We used to try and do Break Dancing in the mid 70's - looked more like this --> :taz:
Met him a few times. He was exactly the same in "real life" as he was on TV. It wasn't an act, even the bad jokes.
A very genial character.
Very sad.
