We had a similar sized leylandii hedge behind our house, until about 20,000 russian starlings appeared one winter. The chainsaws soon came out.

Sorry... spelt it wrong... thrupenny bit - it's a threepence from the olden days. My mum made a bracelet of them and now I have it... it jingles. :mrgreen:
I remember when my Grandad had the threpenny bits........Not sure it's something you'd want to make a bracelet from though.

Don't know about other hotels, but we booked in at a ****** **** and we can cancel as late as 1pm on the day without any penalty.
