And in any case, at my age who looks at CV's??!! When I was made redundant three years ago, they offered me outplacement ................. I laughed, they saw the funny side and increased redundancy offer by £5,000

Great political budget - watch for soundbites over next 24 hours .............. in terms of economics, budgets don't make much sense these days as they often refer to increases that will come in next year or beyond, and we will have all forgotten about them tomorrow and certainly when they do come in!
Must have a bit of long-term planning, the odd policy and strategy here and there, but remember one thing! When an election comes along we mostly vote primarily for the "now" - how do I feel today! Look at coalition governments around the world - Germany and Italy are good examples ............... really, Italy is! All have to work together creating less "swings and roundabouts" governments ........ look at us in comparison!

Here's a rare opportunity!
A major European private bank has invited me "and a friend" to a special evening at the Royal Festival Hall - Grieg/Bruch/Beethoven accompanied by drinks and nibbles! Champagne Reception to begin the proceedings!
They are throwing in a hotel and a late dinner too!
Would a lovely SH lady like to accompany me and look forward to a pleasant evening of listening to classical music, the sound of champagne corks ................ and having the opportunity to make our own music later too!
