We noted an example of this where someone put out an open invitation for a social later this year. One couple were denied an invite as they hadn't posted enough, and therefore not part of the inner rectum .... oops meant sanctum :lol: which is a shame as it's not too far from us and would have loved to attend as we enjoyed the post erotica social in London last year.
We considerable ourselves to be a fun loving gregarious couple who enjoy our swinging as and when time permits. We both have full time jobs, kids who spend more time on the pc than we do and generally have a pretty hectic life. When we do log in we enjoy reading some of the humerous "banter" but do not feel the need to post just for the sake of posting. We subscribe to the maxim "Quality rather than quantity" which goes someway to explain why we rarely post and why we are unlikely to reply to an "open invitation" which has hidden prerequisites.
Apologies if this is seen to be a bit of a rant, but hopefully this may stimulate some of the other lurkers to post and agree or indeed disagree.
Looking forward to your reply .... or to getting :censored: for daring to hint that even in swinging there is still some small minded discrimination.

I certainly can't argue with the fact that some regulars don't have a lot of time for newbies or irregular posters, but it's not just those that get ignored, believe me. I've been a member for 2 and a half years, and I still get blanked by some of the more frequent posters. Maybe it's because they don't like my posts or attitude, maybe it's because I haven't, in their view, posted enough crap in two and a half it's because I'm really not interested in attending the Munches and Socials, but standing around just talking to people when I could be shagging isn't really my thing.
I can understand the reasons why Newbies are treated sceptically. There are a lot of fantasists on here who will only ever whack off at the thought of having a shag with a stranger but never actually do it. And inviting people you really don't know to social events is a big trust thing. Most of us keep our swinging lives private, and the scary thought of a reporter attending an event and then writing about it does, I'm sure, really worry a lot of people.
I honestly don't know what the answer to that problem is. There needs to be something worked out though......................there must be hundreds of really lovely people on here who would be great to meet who might never get the chance or the invitation.
