I came across this hilarious site while running google image searches of members profiles (yes, "she" was using borrowed pictures). At first my feminist side was repulsed, but then I couldn't help but giggle! It's just ridiculous that someone would set this whole thing up! But also I guiltily admit, fun to have a go - esp. when you get it right.

pebble ....how on earth did you find that lol
was thinking the very same thing

Some abuse our hospitality but not all not even most who come here, and that is our own fault, all we need is immigration controls and we could have even more immigrants coming here but to our benefit not detriment, we could recruit nurses and doctors and dentists and skilled workers on a greater scale that we do now, all we need is to say "you can come here if you can house yourself and pay your way" Australia does it, Jersey does it, the Channel Islands do it, Switzerland does it.
We could tell the EU that we will allow tourists, we will allow workers providing they can prove they have the ability to finance themselves whilst here, that they have medical insurance should they need help, that they can speak enough of our language to be able to look after themselves or will be living with others who can help them.

Hummm
That is basically what the rest of Europe already does... You don't need to 'tell' Europe the UK is going to do it, you just do it!
Having the political will to do it and actually doing it are entirely different things altogether! Blathering on about how great thou art doesn't make you great at all and simply shovelling shed loads of other people's money at mainly imagined problems isn't the work of the great and the good, it smacks of little more than self-aggrandisement.
Britain is currently causing France humongous problems with it's 'open door' land of milk and honey attitude (whilst its own ageing population gets shat on). Why else do people from other nations risk death in small craft in the channel or by clinging to the chassis of lorries crossing on ferries? The rewards are there - a free and easy life style in a too generous host nation.
France is doing the right thing within EU legislation by returning itinerants to the place where they entered but, just like a dog with the scent of a bitch on heat, they just keep coming back.
John Major, when PM, decided on behalf of the UK not to sign up to the Schengen accord to protect Britain's Borders thereby not allowing free passage between Member States as is the case almost everywhere else in Europe. The administration that followed screwed that up with their (now admitted) policy of welcoming, indeed encouraging all-comers with free dosh, free housing, free health care. Little wonder now, everyone else seems to get the consequential problems.
Britain isn't a great nation once again and despite the clarion call "we're all in it together", UK citizens are not. Whereas other nations unashamedly have elitism as the cornerstone of their society, the political elite in Britain shit on their electorate from a very great height and steal their hard earned cash to fund hair brained schemes that exist only to make them look great.
Easy being philanthropic with someone else's cash, isn't it.

The betting side would be more interesting if it was based on first retiree, first broken collar bone, first broken finger, first rider to chuck their £25000+ bike into the road cos they got a puncture at the wrong place, first rider to pull off a totally unexpected stage win from a breakaway that wasn't swept up.....now that the tour i've enjoyed watching for the last 30 years :bounce:

how about a bet that one of the riders bites another bolt

so two pages later and still no substantiated facts!!! I'm afraid Jed your argument against Rouge for stating a factual comment that you was talking Rubbish must stand
and as usual you try to change the subject to something you do know a little about,, military conflict
but looking at it i think Rouge was a bit premature......... what he should have said was your talking............................ Bollocks
i applaud his politeness

You I just ignore since you only ever jump on the hate bandwagon and never say anything constructive to post in the forums, you just enjoy being a protagonist and being argumentative, nothing you say impresses or interests me, at least Rogue, Trevenance and a few others have something worth reading to say and we can learn from such people.
easier than substantiating your claims i suppose
lol

Yes I consider him an expert witness and am sure a court of law would accept his experience just as they would a doctor.

of course he is and I'm even sure he would also have letters after his name relating to a qualification just like a doctor and so on

Because he owner of the said swingers club also owns 3 of the premier swingers clubs in the UK, he told me and I have no reason to doubt his knowledge or integrity.

:laughabove::laughabove:
you do realise that this statement means that all Kent777's post's regarding fat bloke down the pub told him must now be considered true rotflmao:rotflmao:
of to buy a copy of the factual daily mail now lol
What an unusual friend you appear to be, if a Doctor friend told you the symptoms you describe to him are those of measles you would not believe him, if a painter friend told you it would be better to sand the item and apply an undercoat you would not believe them, I consider my friend to be an expert in his field owning the 3 most successful gay saunas in the UK, I have no qualms in believing what he says over the guy in the pub who has never even been in to a gay sauna.
my point is mids credible hear say is not factual evidence as far as factual debate is concerned fat bloke down the pub has the very same credibilty as your mate wink

fair point, and fair play to him, he did not deny what I said or try to make excuses, he held his hands up, it is only others that have taken offence at what I said.

yea about that bit
he started as a couple with hopes they could play together, probably in the hope his wife's sex drive would benefit and improve from it,
end result was it didn't happen the situation got worse, he wasn't advertising as a couple Jed he just had a couples profile, no admission of intent to mislead anyone though dunno
and if the guy didn't feel bad enough about his situation along comes sensitive Jed and screams that the guy is a liar and a time waster from the highest moral mountain
if you read the thread properly you will see a little tactful approach from Mr cube who had a polite word in private no doubt and rectified the situation with none or little PUBLIC fuss.
and a prefect example of what being a mod is all about
no wonder you are always moaning about not getting any meets Jed your tact is abominable
:silly: i can't believe we got profile police

some people take swinging far to seriously rotflmao:rotflmao:

CCTV is a waste of time, apart from the bonus of being able to watch them break into your house time and again.
most chav theives dont give a damm about cctv, if they want what you got they will try to take it, lets face it, its easier than having to work for it.
the only deterrent is violence, whether by hungry large dog or baseball bat. HV tazers are available on ebay, i'd advise picking one up, as a non lethal means of deterring said chav the judge might look on this as reasonable force, but thats a coin flip.
most chavs break in either when your not at home or at night when your asleep, dogs are probably the best option, but if cannine commitment is too much just do the best you can.
good alarm system, with sms capability is a no brainer these days, chavs hate alarms. zoned so you can cover the house but still move around upstairs.
remote panic buttons to activate internal sounders in case you get breached during the day.
lockable window catches, and DONT LEAVE THE KEYS IN THEM as every one seems to do.
deadlocks on main doors.
and last of all good insurance cos if they want it they will try to take it

i used to think the same till we fitted them at work ten years back
after years of problems with break In's it stopped over night watching them on camera they avoided the camera's like the plague
we also got them at home and watch how certain types spot them and then avoid coming up our drive lol

I think you would have to have your head buried in soft peat if you didn't agree that minimal investment could have prevented the flooding on the Somerset levels. Today was my misfortune to visit the levels, and whilst minimal homes are affected the loss of livelihood and grazing land is immense. But hey-ho these aren't stockbrokers or media types so who cares. Well not the government or the EA!

pretty accurate view of the situation wink

Having watched the the news over the last few weeks you can't help but feel for the people of flooded somerset, who's farms and homes are awash and roads that are now only accessible via boat
then this morning on the news hundreds of homes in surrey and surrounds who's gardens extend into the Thames all complaining that last night they got flooded blink
now having a house on the Thames at a premium price comes at a price surely and if you wish not to be flooded then the obvious choice would be to purchase a house either on a hill or somewhere other than the banks of a river
meanwhile 3 weeks later the poor souls in somerset are only victims of a lack of maintenance by the environment agency who's houses do not back onto the river for prestige or any other self centred reason i know who deserves the most help in my book and the most TV coverage.
interesting news today that we have our first recorded death from marijuana poisoning
